5 second seek via double tap / arrow keys

Basically i wish there was a youtube-like quick skipping functionality with configurable intervals (e.g. 5, 10 seconds) via double tap on mobile and arrow keys on pc. If I understood it correctly currently the app (windows, ios) only allows to navigate through the subtitles or by dragging the slider which is sometimes inconvenient. The app is a real game changer though, thank you for your work

But is it not possible to just add a 5 sec interval without being tied to subtitles?

that is already the case if subtitles are disabled

why do you need to skip 10 seconds?

wouldn't the only reason be if you missed a subtitle

For example, some subtitles have subs for openings so skipping it becomes inconvenient

And it would just allow more precision, what if i just want to rewatch a scene without being attached to subtitles timings

My bad, but since you mentioned asb player at least on desktop it allows both. Never used on mobile, if’s it’s not possible fine
