what url do you use to access tracearr? is it accessible to other devices on your network ?

Make sure the url in Settings -> General-> External Access is set correctly. I ran in to this same error and had that set to a url utilizing a base path that never worked. I moved tracearr to utilizing a subdomain, which worked fine but never updated that url in settings. I’m assuming it builds the QR code from that url as I was able to manually enter the correct url for the app and it worked. I then changed the url in my settings and tried to re-add using the QR code and it then worked as well.

Yeah then you won’t be able to connect to it? You need a vpn or proxy. Googling those concepts will yield some helpful stuff but unless you expose your services externally, you can’t use them anywhere but internally
