Hey everyone,
I'm gauging interest for an art community in which players can hone their skills, give and receive feedback for other artists, and offer constructive criticism to each other; please reply to this thread if you guys are interested.

now that you've mentioned it I don't want that sort of disconnect to happen, the art community is primarily for people who want to share their art and nothing else, #your_work is not just art but also media related to wynncraft

i'd assume just art? but having music and whatnot wouldn't hurt much, but videos is a little too broad, so only mainly specific artistic videos? e.g 3d animation and such

code is probably its own topic under programming, not art I believe

code can also be considered extremely broad. it can make art, but it sure isn't art.
for example, code based animation can be considered art, but a sassy chatbot wouldn't be art.
either way these details can be focused on and cleared in the actual art server if it is made.
but anyways, to not stray too far from the purpose of this; yes, an art community could prove to be useful for wynn and non-wynn artists - assuming that growth would be a goal - a general small hub for artists, learning artists, and art enjoyers could prove to be useful for many, and in the cases of some, it would be an excellent area to get constructive feedback regarding art so that they can improve.
if it happens, i do not think it should be primarily wynn focused, doing such would prove to be futile and simply create wynnfics 2.0, which is most likely undesirable by many if not all.

also i'm kinda confused by the thread as a whole because while it should be a cool announcement for a cool discord server you basically introduce the concept and then immediately just start rattling off rules
and not allowing people to share an invite link seems like you either want to gatekeep the place or want to flat out prevent it from becoming a public thing, both of which seems entirely counterproductive @modern sphinx
