Heyo! I'm creating this thread to gather as much feedback about Mo' Bends within Wynncraft as possible. I've talked with the owner of the mod and he's ready to hear your feedback! Who knows, in the future he might make special animations for using different weapons 🤔

So tell me, is there anything wrong you find with using Mo' Bends (1.0.0 BETA) in Wynncraft? Is there something you don't like about the animations? Do you have any suggestions for Mo' Bends animations that could be looked into for the base build?

Mo bends is an unnecessary addition to the game in my opinion, but I'm also someone who doesn't like modding the game much in general. I don't think less of people for using it, but it looks really wild in use sometimes.

The game looks absolutely stupid on players. Mobs are fine. Except spiders, but I just hate spiders so that isn't the mods fault. In wynncraft npcs (specifically humans/humanoid npcs) look really really silly when they start boxing the air when trying to interact with something. Players sprinting (and even more-so when sprint jumping) look more like they are in a stance to dodge an attack when in reality they are charging forward. The standard crouch animation is a bit odd due to the fact that its like you are trying to reach the floor but due to the player being so tall they don't reach the ground.

However. I do think the riding horses animation is pretty cool. If specific weapon animations were possible, a warrior using both hands for stabs with a spear but an overhead swing for the earth club would be pretty cool. I think the boxing animation is okay, however, it doesn't work very well for in-game cutscenes at all. For an example, there is a cutscene in the game where a guy walks up to dynamite and points to it. In vanilla, he just swings his arm in the general direction, but with the mod it would mean that he just starts fighting the air for no reason.

Me and a friend were working on a project just like this for 1.16.5, could try to port it to 1.12.2 depending on which version you use

Sadly obviously default minecraft can't handle that but if you want to do that for your mod power to you, seems like a dope idea

I've heard that Optifine can't handle 3d parts apart from the head.

It's a shame. This mod was aimed to fix that for artists 😄

Yeah, we only do 3d heads due to them being tool dura pickaxes on the head, unfortunately
