Hello also I never responded to your thing about being at a wall in taiko but okay so

Taiko specific maps start to be infinitely better than standard maps converted to taiko mode. Usually standard convert OD is batshit crazy and their slider velocity is also nyooooom a lot of the time

At least when I was getting into 3.5-4 star stuff, realizing that is what helped me a lot. Playing those muzukashii and oni difficulty taiko maps was infinitely smoother than playing extra standard map sets or whatever

Mostly because taiko maps are well, designed for taiko lol

And more accurate to the game mode

There's a good amount of taiko mapsets too. Like, idk. I have everything up until like february downloaded which is like 70k standard maps and 16-20k taiko maps. So there's a good selection. Most songs mapped in standard are also mapped in taiko unless they're kinda obscure one ofs, which is sad because there's some cool standard maps that I'd love to map in taiko but too lazy

Much better a selection than ctb or mania, at least
