insta death in world event

i was opening crates to pass time waiting for the world event
i was mid crate when it started and it instantly said ''everyone in your group has died'' (i was solo) still got the crate loot but didnt get to do the event

my guess is it treats it as you did /lobby and came back online

just be patient and don't do anything 15 sec before it starts

My theory is that the player character as a living playable entity in the world doesn’t exist during the crate opening period (You’re invisible during the animation) so when the World Event starts the game can’t find any players and auto-fails the event

you're probably equivalent to a party spectator during the crate opening animation
