The idea is simple, if you own an item such as a tier 6 fire powder and want to sell it while also having the placeholder in your bank incase you needed to store any more tier 6 fire powders, and it saves a spot in your bank wherever you want it so that your bank can look all pretty without you needing to have 1 copy of the item.

or you could just keep one in the bank
.
thats exactly why i made this post is i dont want to keep one in the bank
boo hoo?
if they added a pouch for that?
powder pouch lol
its for every stackable item not just powders
and if you wanted a place to put your mythic weapon then thats cool you could leave a placeholder for it
how many stackable items do u have? i have pages filled with stacks and never run into issues unless moving items around (from page to page)
tbf wynncraft introduces the mechanic of having to choose what u carry
crafting materials, powders, ability shards, scrolls
that's good as it is, cause like imagine if u had an infinite inventory for every material / ingredient / powder to carry around
theres a good bit of stackable items
i think this should stay as is
this is normal
scrolls are an exception, scrolls WILL get reworked
ngl it would help me out and im sure a bunch of other people and if youre really gonna get pissy at me for asking for a qol change then you can fuck off
cough cough @real rose
bub fell for the ragebait
scrolls are too annoying, and there's a component of having an unfair advantage being a previous gamer
not really ragebait just disrespect lol
sorry no disrespect intended this is just a legitimate non issue
all im saying is it would be helpful! its not necessarily an issue but it i mean there can be big suggestions and small suggestions
this is a small suggestion
this seems way more inconvenient than just keeping one of the items in the bank ngl
how so
oh hell nah i aint keeping 30k prof mats in my bank
as a general thing, the trade market could do with expansion and being made smoother
because leaving an item in the bank is done with one single click, and there's a lot of specifics related to this idea that make it more complicated than that. Like now if you look in the bank an item might be a placeholder and not an actual item, maybe you want to rearrange the placeholders but you would either need to get a copy of the item again or make the placeholders into physical items (which would be awful). It's just not worth it.
im not really a developer of any kind so i dont really know how itd all work i just had an idea
cuz i thought runescape did bank placeholders and thought itd be helpful if i had that in wynncraft
use Trading Market as another item container, just put these at some massive prices so noone buys it lmao
that both sounds painful to implement and feels like it'll only end in disaster
if people resort to that, we should really consider it as an option
i just don't see people doing this very often, maybe for really good mythics in the hopes that some dude wants to buy it
runescape has the advantage on not using minecraft as an engine
ngl i don't see the issue implementing it, i just don't see the necessity for this kind of qol, it's part of the limiting inventory 'thing' that's been there for ages
i'd much rather just see a backpack
what would the purpose of a backpack be if there was no worthy items to be stored inside it
very counterproductive work
they would need to add other gambling mechanics for it to work
