Make Gathering Totems Delete Mobs in their Radius

I noticed that when a mob totem expires, all mobs it summoned instantly vanish. Would it be possible for this feature to be sort of inverted, so that all mobs (except those from grind spots, raids, or world events) that enter the radius of a gathering totem instantly vanish, as well as possibly their projectiles? I'd appreciate this for fishing spots where mobs often knock you into the water, and I imagine it'd be especially useful for ||nodes clusters in Fruma that happen to be near spawn points of relatively powerful mobs||

Gathering already disables mob targetting which is silly, if the totem completely disabled mobs it would make there being mob spawn locations around gathering spots an even more pointless feature. If the grind spot isn't meant to have mobs then they wouldn't add spawn locations near them.
