#Adjust Quest Levels to be more Clumped Together

Currently, following the quests in level order can lead to having to travel to the other side of the map for one quest the going back for the next one (Especially the 40-55 range with Nesaak/Troms area and early Gavel, and to a lesser extent around 85-90 with Corkus and Lategame Gavel. I believe this is one cause of the midgame burnout/slog, as following the quests, which seems the most logical choice, often ends up feeling like a checklist. To help remedy this, I would propose moving quests in the same region to be next to each other in the quest book so players following the quest book would spend more time in one area (hopefully finding more of the optional content and spending less time travelling).

fast travel between nessak/troms and llevigar when

I'm combat level 48 and just had the exact same issue

#

I thought I overlooked a couple quests because I did indeed travel to gavel, back to ragni with quick travel and then all the way to nessak

newer players also canf afford to buy scroll of everywhere

and u can only scrol oncw every 10 mins so if ur flip flopping can get kinda sketchy

#

i dont think quests should be moved personally rather the issue of traveling be removed via fast travel methods

#

i actually like that you go to more areas and dont hang around one (ignoring the traveling part)

harsh jolt
#

I think buying scrolls everywhere you go isn't that expensive

devout glacier
#

its like 2 le per or smthn i know i usually cant afford it for everywhere

harsh jolt
#

I never went outside ragni, detlas or that other little village until like combat level 30, at which I had a stable amount of money

harsh jolt
#

yeah that could be

devout glacier
#

even detlas is like 1 le

harsh jolt
#

ive never had an le in my life and I have TT, Detlas and ragni scroll

devout glacier
#

idk all the prices i just remember thinking i will go bankrupt on my ironmans

devout glacier
#

2000ish

harsh jolt

#

wha aint not wait detlas is 128 i swear to god it was higher

#

i mean troms is an le and llevigar and nessak are half an le which r the towns we r talking about so my point still stands but

#

i swear detlas used to be more expensive

#

to have scrolls between nessak llevigar and troms u need 2 le

#

which is kinda crazy expensive for a lv 40-50 player

#

should be cheaper

no need to lock being able to not travel for 10 years behind lots of emeralds

#

dont really understand the point of scrolls being expensive (for most of them)

pastel oracle
#

I think fast travel as a whole needs some changes

devout glacier
#

in what way

pastel oracle
#

I think being able to teleport anywhere on the map hinders exploration, but currently travel kind of needs it

#

maybe the mounts update will make traversal more interesting

devout glacier

i need proof or i aint believe u

pastel oracle
#

yea Nemract Selchar Llevigar

timid relic
#

like selchar, llevigar, nemract

devout glacier
#

wait whats the issue with travel then just use seaskipper

#

if u can go from llevigar to nessak/troms i dont really see an issue

pastel oracle
#

its still pretty repetive doing quest in order

devout glacier
#

personally ive found u get enough xp that i can do a couple quests in nessak then go to llevigar and do a couple there

if there actually is a fast travel i think this is a non issue as the only complaint i had was travel time

#

but maybe just due to how i play the game when doing quests

And you can't fast travel to areas you haven't been to so that first go around isn't hindered

probably Wynntils' fault, using the map GUI instead of having to read all the destinations when using it makes it easy to miss the tiny white destination on a white background that's off screen unless you zoom out well beyond the range of all other destinations.

up to olux (which is probably where it gets the worst with travel) you can afford all the scrolls off of quests and whatever mobs/caves you happen to loot on the way)
