Hello fellow Brawlers. I've come here from the Forums to see if anything better is happening for Blizzard Brawl, and it doesn't seem like it!
I know I'm new to these parts, so I should be cautious, but,
WHAT ARE Y'ALL DOIN'???
I'll just drop my major points from the Forums and leave this hellhole.
Tom needs a complete rework, and should be put on hold until that can happen. He does not give nearly enough agency to those he fights, and there's an imbalance of effort in interactions with him, as, to beat him, you have to focus solely on him, while he can just shoot you when he sees you, and kill you like that.
Rickeo, despite being butchered, is still annoying, because he wasn't actually fixed. He, like many of the classes, has no proper downsides that can't be nullified by skill, which decreases counterplay at high skill levels, and results in Steamrolling.
Yahya is just Rickeo but high.
Gawrick has the same issues as Rickeo did, but with potential to be balanced. Health packs fill the role of self healing, which makes him way too tanky.
Dr. Legendary is scattered in his design. He needs to be reeled in to be either supportive, tanky, or high damage. He can't be all three.
Irlok needs a bit of switching up to his design. The Dash isn't fun to play or fight, or at least not nearly as fun as the Slam was. If the Dash was made to be more for movement, and the Slam buffed back up a little, so it isn't useless compared to the Dash, he might start getting a little balanced.
Theorick is really lovely, and so is Hailey. Hailey especially, because she has proper downsides that can't be nullified by skill. She's weak in everything but her healing, which forces her to rely on her team, which encourages proper healing, which is lovely!
As a misc. point, the more I've played BB, the more I've hated Health Packs. Undoing dealt damage without much work is just terrible. (This is a bit more of a hot take though, feel free to skip this)

rickeo: melee unit, with very visible dash chargeup that's the slowest in the game. If he's annoying you that is actually completely your problem I'm sorry man, he's very manageable, if you're getting steamrolled by a rickeo you may need to reconsider how you're fighting him
yahya: irlok punch, counting how many stacks you have on yourself and disengaging, being aware of where the grenade is, bait the ult/stun them out of it/outrange it
dr li: learn to play outside his lethal range, approx 4-5 blocks, when he mechs immediately back up and around a corner to dodge insta m2 and slam
irlok: slam is an obscenely good engage tool, dash is the damage tool: 50 dmg + stun on kick
theorick is dogshit rn what are you on about
