i feel like that would just cause confusion even more for example if you try to message them it will say they are offline

probably more difficult to do than the sidebar would be, but the sidebar is heavily character limited which isnt a good place for it

would need a full rewrite of the existing sidebar and all scenarios that it is used to be custom as well

would be nice though i agree i dislike current sidebar
