A recent patch revived Archer hmelle with a ghostly trigger and now it competes with the assassin. Great change.
Assassin got nerfed due to how raids changed and with competent party dps you cant setup on greg fast enough etc. Less ideal.
But what about other classes?
Warrior apparently has some bash hmelle with collapse or apocalypse too similar names. Idk the numbers nor how it works, but its strong enough to lootrun so its viable ig?
And then we have shaman and mage with like 1 or 2 melee abilities in the entire ability tree. If the class isnt intended to have anything melee focused as a design then its fine...
But why does mage have 2 hmelle powder specials major ids on mythic weapons? Lets compare the earth ones since assassin is purely oriented around quake, while archer thunder powder special is a bonus:
Gaias root is like less than 25% of assassins quake dmg (400k ish compared to 2m+ quake) and its targetting + travel time is doo doo. The end.
Even if it scaled with winded I dont think thats enough to be even considerable 🥀
for assasin just either buff satsu on quake too or have it not steal my marks on quake
warrior hmelee well uhh sucks and you cannot buff it enough without mids if you do not want to make spell stupidly op
