#raid xp feedback

I will start by saying that level scaling was something unhealthy for the game but there are some issues by not giving xp to players who do raids, the main one is the lack of xp contributions that will come from Endgame level raids (TCC/TNA), a lot of players don't do much stuff or doesn't engage too much with combat activities (In my case, i do mostly guild housing time and prof for example), i only engage with teamwide content such as World Events/Graids and most of the time i contribute with xp to the guild, i believe that a lot of players are in a similar situation, where they don't give much xp to the guild and most of them comes from dungeons/raids/world events rather than grinding, so i have 2 suggestions:

-Make Raid Xp contribute at Guild xp after level 100
All raid scaling builds are for level 60-80, players at level 100 wouldn't benefit at all from this changes, so at least they should be able to contribute.

-Make Raids Xp scale
Raids enemies/bosses hp increase with level, why xp doesn't scale too?

-Make Gambits contribute to Guild exp in raw values
Since a lot of ppl do raids as their only way to get exp, this would aleviate the issue of ppl not contributing enought for their guilds xp.

Glory to church xp grinding

No make it contribute once 106

Iirc the biggest xp boost guilds receive from raiding is the fact that guild raids give an innate pretty big amount of xp to the guild regardless of any members using /gu xp 100. The amount you donate extra by giving your own xp is near negligible tmk

after a certain level, the only way to effectively keep levelling the guild is guild raids

pfinder or premade parties doesn't give any way to the player to contribute to their guild, small and new guilds that cannot do graids so often wouldn't recieve xp

#

they would need to do grinding, but like i said before, a lot of players just don't do grinding

#

and my other way to get xp is from world events, but we don't have xp scale on world events

1 mill xp for a brand new guild is quite a good amount (don't ask me how I know it)

#

at (max level - 1), (right now 105), there really isn't a single reason for this /gu xp restriction to exist

I mean u have good ideas but at the same time I very much like level scaling

outer steppe
#

my first guild was with only school friends and there was a point were there was only 2 or 3 players, it was rare to get more than that at the same time, the guild was like level 34

#

without raid xp, guilds doesn't get much xp when they are small, they would need grinding xp and a big chunk of playerbase doesn't like how grinding works

500 raids (2-3 times 500 mill xp) to get xp, aspects, money etc. OR ... grinding church or scrapyard for a while
up to preference and stuff honestly

outer steppe
#

also church is kinda hard if your guild is small, most church parties are also with more than 1 player

hexed temple
#

but then you can get an ungodly amount of xp in hours

scrapyard is good enough if you just want to kickstart a guild... and raids are inbetween scrapyard and church xp grind

#

if they actually remove our ability to donate raid xp to the guild above lvl 105, that will be very sad

Fair enough

Copy pasted;

Just do like every other game ever where xp you gain the guild also gains

Then remove /gu xp

Thanks

#

If you ct want it could even be 50% xp only for guilds. Still harder to level guilds, but gxp as a command is so outdated its not even funny

#

And it sucks cause people will get 106 but not enable gxp 100% bc they NEED that overflow xp apparently, or just forget. If xp was always contributed this wouldnt be an issue

#

Yeah it's kind of consensus that the guild xp contribution system is funky and mostly being used rn in unintended behaviour

#

Guild xp contribution should change further

#

This is mostly a first step to prevent the worst side of it

Please before 2028

casuals won't

glacial gorge
#

I think this is making a mountain out of a molehill

#

I am not too opposed to the being able to contribute at endgame

#

But it's a rule that'd be pretty invisible to the player

outer steppe
#

my issue with this is mostly about the change affecting more the casual playing that the one that's on the top 0.1%

#

in my case i don't do more than 5 raids per day most of my playtime is on world events and housing or profs, my contributions to my guild in terms of xp is low, with this change they would be even lower

#

especially because when the guild does take church or territories with bombs and consus im not connected

glacial gorge
#

I think the benefit of ridding raids of level scale abuse is worth more than this xp loss tbh

outer steppe
#

while casuals cannot deal with it the same way because is another issue for them

glacial gorge
#

I don't know what you mean by this in a way that is relevant

#

My take is the downside of guilds losing out on raid player xp is small enough that the benefit of removing level scale abuse throughout raiding is worth it

stone acorn
#

Sure but why not just do stuff the traditional way that works for every other mmo in existance

#

Why does wynn have to be different, and most of the time its for the worst. Not for the better

glacial gorge
#

This change was done because it was minimally invasive and easy to implement

#

Further gxp changes are within the territory of guild content

#

Which maybe something could be done but insert linny speech bubble

stone acorn
#

Its a win win situation, but wynn usually decides to take a win/lose situation

Idk why the salted of the past decided on this gxp system ¯_(ツ)_/¯
