I feel like adding a roguelike mode/cave/dungeon (not raid) is a nice idea as endgame content (not neccesarily endgame). I guess the major issue is variety, but this is a barebones suggestion as is.

I suppose a benefit is that you wont need to move around the map lol.

Maybe the Forgery will have something like that at some point...

I think we just have enough elements in wynn to patch something like this together (like the blessing system from raids), also i thought at multiple points in my playthrough that i found one of these (see: extra large caves and the grootslang resource thing which i thought was a roguelike).

The idea just came to me that this might be a thing when we inevitably dive into the nether, just feels like it fits.

wynn could make a goated roguelike mode it would just take a LOT of dev time

Lootrun but you start with lvl 1 gear

Please do not leak Fruma updates, even if it's made as a suggestion we need to keep things private either way.

forgery rework being a roguelite was talked about a while back (2~ years)
and its like the only thing that could feasibly be a roguelite.

jokes aside a rogue like version with some sort of extra character that has its own level gear and stuff could be fun

I communicated with such ideas a while ago. And there is obviously a idea for Forgery Chain pieces to be used for some shop for perma upgrades, then also I pruposed a randomized daily/weekly starting build for each class, you pick your class and then for the roguelite instance you start with X build that was randomly generated (but possible to use and not super terrible), then each dungeon for example that you beat gives you some choices to switch your gear for better stuff, etc etc. it was very very rough but fun ideas :)

well really you dont even need to squint it just is a roguelike

#

very repetitive without any buffs that do unique stuff just stat increases but still

snow nebula
#

a bad roguelike, but a roguelike nonetheless

#

i could imagine some sort of content where you get a separate character for of a unique class that scales really well with the items but can only play that mode

#

something like minecraft dungeon's tower of adversity

#

or whatever it is called. you just get a separate character with its own gear, and put in an "infinite dungeon"
