how would this work for woodcutting the hitboxes would have to be massive no?
tbf i dont know how current system works but its not too bad once you get used to it
They're already massive ngl and extremely buggy so anything to make it better id take
Not like a skill check is needed for woodcutting it already has the downside of node spread compared to all other profs
ngl i kinda love how micro intensive woodcutting is at least on mage
like the quick switch to tp back to tool repeat

If a tree is cut its no longer there so why is it there
but if you get used to it you barely notice and i hate qol for new players

tbh why did they remove nodes saving ur progress, so if you stopped gathering halfway thru u could just click again and it wouldnt take the full time

i mean it used to be that way and i took a break from wynn and when i came back they had changed it
there is nothing challenging about proffing its just a grind
and refine chance increasing by level encourages you to level up to get mats faster

idk prof system is pretty obviously majorly flawed but its been that way for a long time and i dont think we will see a major rework for a while
probably so you dont get stuck in trees when they regen
i mean you can still get stuck in the floor when doing /switch
so i dont think the issue is that easily fixed idk
better to tp up 1 instead
unless you rebind holding down a button is way worse than clicking imo
a closer thing to the avg of each would be each player gets that 8% of what the other player got

i think this is going in the exact opposite direction. there is no incentive to coop instead of alone if anything theres incentive not to due to it. unlike other activities where coop can be argued to have benefits outside of rewards, for proffing its well profs so adding an additional step you need to do for no reward is a bit iffy (not to mention the implementation issues most likely). unlike other aspects of the game multiplayering this means 2 players essentially acting as copies of each other instead of the "acting as one" thing where they just need to work fluidly together.
