A lot of the time it's hard to see what element does how much damage because some spells proc a lot of different abilities. For example meteor with burning sigil and lightning, so it gets hard to know how much damage you're dealing of a specific type so you know which is worth getting more buffs on. This could be as simple as either a flat amount or % with element icons under the already existing dps counter.

good ideas, tho i don't know how possible it is to breakdown the dmg per ability without it being a hefty amount of work for the devs since it'd probably require a good chunk of the current code to be rewritten (i might be wrong, just an idea)
While we re at it, let’s make it possible to Customize dummies with resistences and elemental defences
yes and change their size and have things like groot where it does funky damage (only if the damage weird stuff alrdy exists)
while we r at it, might just make the combat dummy be able to mimic popular bosses, including defences and hitboxes (yes i know this would be really scuffed if it could mimic tcc but just an idea)
and let us program spell cycles to test on our balloons (and only on balloons)

I wish for a healing amount dummy, and maybe dummy disguises so it can adopt different elemental defences/hitboxes (annihilation disguise for the annihilation housing)
also a reset button on dummies for the counter and maybe show who is doing the damage
