yeah, wretches are a little bit more indicative but the sound and animation cue for it winding up the laser is suuuuuper obvious
every time ive done it ive just not been able to tell when its actually gonna shoot in the few seconds after the purple circle shows up 😭 ig my sounds are too quiet my bad
the laser is kinda bullshit yeah, you basically just have to ignore it because its practically undodgeable mechanics and barely present cues make it not worth paying attention

The Eye always just shoots where you were standing a moment ago
I can confirm this, ran EO a couple times recently and I can very much consistently avoid the laser
(My only criticism/ suggestion is that The Eye’s bullseye icon should look in the direction where it’s going to fire rather than straight forward)

no? it's perfectly doable with poor mobility
especially if you're playing as something like Acolyte, you've gotta position yourself

those are trivial
dying to watched is a pure screwup scenario, never happens unless you just make a huge mistake or get bit by lag/etc.
laser is more threatening but still well-balanced (I shouldn't have called it trivial, watched is trivial to the point that it probably should not even exist, but I think tcc laser is well-done)
then ig just practice more, you'll know when the eye is about to shoot the beam like watched
the eye is just not as well-designed as a lot of other stuff

Anyways look I get people's complains of Wynncraft boss attacks being relatively hard and obscure to notice a lot of the time but you guys could not have picked the single most obvious telegraphed attack in the entire game
The only thing I'm accepting in regards to the actual attack itself (after the telegraph) is that The Eye does actually falsely indicate where it's aiming at
Because the pink retinal bullseye circle is locked forward when the actual aiming direction is just... where the player is a split second ago
For that one it is kinda poor telegraphing so I'll give y'all that
But surely where it aims is apparent after the first time, no?

Actually I do want to suggest that the bullseye actually aim at where it’s going to fire that’ll be nice
(And and/ or readd the line of telegraph from the old laser)
I play with 0 volume, the sound cue really isn’t a requirement to dodge the thing
yes, and the sound warning should be 10x louder
and add 2 extra seconds of coutdown lol
that is possible but frankly very annoying to setup
and I am not supposed to be working on very low priority changes
also it doesnt hit in the air cuz it would imo be too easy to bait it up in the air where it is no threat to most classes
and instead just have it be not much of a threat to acro

ye It's not impossible just too much work to justify such a small visual change rn. the model of the aim would have to be adjusted so it can mimic the eyes yaw and I suck with block bench, maybe after fruma or if i dont have as much to do
