dummies are locked in place, to be shown & thrown whatever spell you have at, just like zoo animal.
Being kept in captivity drives them crazy, so they are randomly turning around.
This can't be changed because it's an essential part of wynn's lore, there's nothing we can do about it.

Well, dummies still have weird behaviors like destroying trickster clones or paladin's mantles because they still attack, just do 0 damage

once i thought about dummies having a few settings:

damage trackers:

  • dps and peak dps
  • time to do 1k-100m damage
  • damage dealt in the past 1-60 seconds

dummy types:

  • knockback immune and vulnerable to knockback (will return to original position when not attacked for 10s)
  • AI modes (you can make them do certain behaviors like doing melee attacks, rotating/walking around, those can also use abilities sometimes and may do do 5% of your hp per hit but never get you below 1 hp when you enable it)
