as for continuous gather rather than ticks I Think cancelling halfway through should either keep progress or take durability away

Scrap all of that
Make profs actually interesting, Wynn profs is by far the most stale and outdated content in any mcmmorpg
Even HSB, which I shit on a lot for having horrendously long grinds has better and unique profs until you reach minmaxing level

combat is always the best part of a game they have to be split combat and gathering to be interesting

currently at level 95 for all gathering professions on one class. my thoughts:

  1. I don't think this information is particularly useful because you can just count the whacks. however, it would be more useful if #1 were implemented

  2. I don't know what this means

  3. this just obfuscates your progress because XP increases as materials get better. I shouldn't have to use a calculator every time I want to see how far I am from the next level. percentages make the math much easier as well

  4. you still get XP for resources that you don't get. this will just make leveling professions harder, and professions are already quite a time sink

dawg its not even that hard to get level 100 in gathering, or time consuming, even if there isnt a speed or prof xp bomb, using gather xp gear is gonna make it fast af lol.. also WHAT??? "remove chance for t2/t3 at that point" wtf man 😭

i can say that its really weird how 2 nodes remove 1 durability tho, they could just double the displayed durability and make 1 node remove 1 durability, makes it more simplified how much dura you really have

5 and 6 kinda wack but the gather tick system was always kinda wack and painfully rhythmic so I'd be down for that.

The people who are complaining about it being to precise to time have already had their skulls hollowed out by the irritating swoosh sound every 1s, as they're pushed to the edge of their seat waiting to snap to the next node the instant the final tick happens.

My suggestion has been to replace the ingredient pouch with the profession bag which would have the bank interface and hold all profession-related items including materials, ingredients, tools, and the now-removed scrap

It would be account-wide so you could just store any ingredients you get into what is essentially a portable profession bank

#

And you could left or right click on gathering nodes as long as the appropriate tool was in your bag freeing up inventory space
