I have no idea why blink has an aspect not gonna lie

hey its really good for low level / long distance traveling with bad sustain
like, insanely good
low level movement with that sustain is purely miserable
also if youre warring in a claim with terrible terrain (like cotl (we have cotl)), blink is a lifesaver
also the meteor blink timelock cycle is peak
but yeah that idea is really goog

i dont even think itd make sense for it to be a mid but im not an IM so idk
the problem with blink is that is so niche that it could be better for riftwalker to have other nodes that add more value
and if you like blink you would actually get better QoL since you would have the option of having it on a dedicated build + having more nodes that supports riftwalker
but also, riftwalker is not as bloated as other archetypes from other classes

but an accessory's still pretty inconvenient for most builds, blink (as a node) is much more useful and versatile than people give it credit for

Blink is fine as is, just make it cut short when pressing shift (and while not in timelock)
They should keep blink and delete every other teleport node

Player camera moves faster than server can register it. It's only a few miliseconds off, but it's especially noticeable with Blink
why don't you just disable that node? the teleport range aspect is more than enough to move around
Rift Walker DPS. Blink + Explosive teleport actually does insane damage for some reason. Also, it's really really really nice long distance to travel. Like, it gives such an absurd level of QOL because you remain airborne for so long. Even with my current criticism I'm still going to use it regardless because I like it that much
I don't need warp for LR all I need is Bonder, Blink, and 42 int to stay in the air indefinitely
you won't even need much for blink to be peak, choccat accidentally flew from jofash docks to fruma gate on his lvl75 champion set mage and a random legendary wand without pausing once using it (he was going to llevigar gate)
also although i havent tried warring on monster, i dont think youre going to have a pleasant experience going from terr to terr without blink
in short, blink is a good (at least decent) node 
having this qol for it tho will make it more bearable to use in raids or similar content, so im all for it
Like, objectively speaking, I cannot think of a single reason why shortening Blink shouldn't be added. Really nice QOL and like, if anything it reduces your damage output when you do it, not increase
I never touched blink before because I didn't like how it went too far, but like, ever since I forced myself to get used to it for more Rift DPS, it's so nice to use long distance. It's so comfortable, and is really really easy on the wrist

Maybe if you could teleport into the floor it would be used but right now there aint no way youre snapping your camera 180 degrees that fast and precise. It does some dmg if you use it in timelocked but not enough to really be usable

No actually, it's absurd the amount of damage you get out of it with the blink aspect. Straight up meta. Go into Wynnbuilder, plug in a random rift Walker build, add in blink and explosive teleport and add in the blink aspect too.
With a T2 blink aspect, a singular teleport at 30 winded does 200,000 total damage. Having that go off in the background while I cast meteors is an objectively better DPS cycle that just straight meteor and nothing else.
It also alleviates the issue of spell cost rising, since a 1000 spell cost meteor will fail to cast while in time lock
I tried to make build for it earlier and yes wynnbuilder showed a big number but in practice when i tried it it was just bad idk what i did wrong
Anecdotally I used identical items with my singularity rift Walker build and my DPS with it went from a 380k-400k DPS peak, to a 460k-500kdps peak.
25% damage bonus is huge.

With the blink aspect that allows you to get at least 3 teleports per TP cast, I do TP once and then 3 meteors over and over again. With 4 blinks, 4 meteors, with 5 blinks 5 meteors. Basically, you want to have teleport going off in the background at all times while you spam meteors.
Teleport overwrites itself, so you can't just mash teleport either. Unless you go laser beam rift Walker with explosive entrance, which is better QOL but worse DPS on a slow moving target.

And Timelock ofc. There's no way you're doing 180's AND spamming meteors with any semblance of accuracy
Tp spam has potential though... Blink node but without aspect. Don't have to worry about accuracy because the range is so huge, and you can basically have 3 free aspect slots to work with. I'll have to DPS test when I'm home
No manastorm? I guess cause the goal is just to spam timelock yeah? I hit some clean 300k dps on morph singu and hadn’t considered tp spam. Ill look into tomorrow maybe, ty lad!

I almost never use timelock because i just rely on meteor icesnake spam cycle and manastorm realy helps with that level of sustain
And 300k morph singu was pretty doable on a combat dummy if you spam timelock on 30 winded cd and fling meteors like hell. Highest dps i ever hit to date too😭
It's really fun, and the current rift meta is to spam snake and ONLY cast meteor in time lock. Hence, why no manastorm. Don't need to maintain your mana at full, just gotta get them to 30 winded before you run out of steam first :p
Also, rift Walker is disproportionately better at lootruns than Arcanist. Crowd of mobs, instant 60 winded, and you destroy everything. Rift Walker has the best ad clear I've ever experienced
It's so much fun when 5 enemies pull up on you and you're like "Mmmm yes, victims" and get 120k meteors because of it lol
Can destroy thingies still not have winded applied?

2.) Even if they didn't, just apply winded to mobs around them. Give yourself roided up meteors
