Effect is that the next beacon you take won't appear for the next 2 challenges after it. The purpose of this beacon is as follows:

  1. Enables a player to de-sync their aqua from other challenges they want to aqua boost so that they can do the strat they want more consistently.
  2. Dilutes the pool of beacons so that "blue/purple/yellow" combo will be less-frequent allowing for each player's run to be less 'same-y'.
  3. indirectly slightly buffs the mission that allows you to get more rerolls by making rerolls have more value.

So I take a light purple then a yellow, to ensure i don't get a yellow the next two rolls?

#

So I'm wasting a round, then wasting another to take the yellow

#

This is because I don't want to waste my next two rounds with yellows and would rather get something better

#

Why not just take orange?

#

Maybe I'm not getting it

challenge 1 you take light purple cuz your aqua and red/green are on the same rotation (they only show up every other challenge when taken)
challenge 2 you take a red/green
challenge 3 you take w/e and the red/green you took doesn't show up
challenge 4 you take aqua and the red/green you took doesn't show up
challenge 5 you can take the red/green from before
So you only spend 1 challenge on this, then you can sync up the challenges you want to sync

Just make it 10 challenges

#

And make it so you can only have 1 active at a time

Getting aqua misaligned with red and green beacons can be a headache, which would be prob the only reasonable usage of that becaon. Why not make it a +1 beacon rr tho?

Is this the same person that said Paladin's main source of damage is shield strike...

reverse aqua, instead of +100% effects, its -100% effects

this is a silly beacon idea

tbh adding another underwhelming beacon to beacon pool is just decreasing odds of good ones appearing

#

Just please dont.

#

Situational beacon that will be a liability 90% of the time

#

even yellow will be better than that

#

Which is just impressive in how you can come up with it.

if you urgently need challenges so badly that you NEED a 12 challenge red the obvious solution is to get a light purple, then a red, then 2 challenges later you can aqua stack into a red! that way you can get the 12 challenge red + another 4 challenge red within the space of just 4 challenges! thats an average of +4 challenges per challenge that you spend on it... oh wait

getting too many mythics in a short enough amount of time permanently unlocks Evil Beacons, which may randomly replace a normal beacon and reverse its beneficial effects

new beacon (or mission): 90% chance to gain 1 pull when completing a challenge, 10% chance to instantly end the lootrun
