Hello, I will be forwarding stuff from the Wynn Analytics server to here in case anyone wants to see how archetypes work in each raid. Feel free to ask any questions about methodology here and also feel free to ask me for an invite the the server (where we have more in-depth tools)

Some interesting things: Fallen is currently back at one of the top archetypes with none other than hero taking the spotlight

It’s pretty obvious that it’s hero by looking at the SP distributions, which only average out the assigned SP, and the current meta hero build has 80 or so agility, meaning that hero usage is likely way higher than other weapons

the way we sort archetypes is entirely based on if they’ve taken specific nodes

while it isn’t entirely accurate, it’s the most simple way by far and like… good enough to sort people

and N/A usually refers to people that for some reason have multiple of these nodes, i.e. someone who took awakened (ritualist) and sacrificial shrine (acolyte)

or someone who just took some random shit that didn’t touch our predetermined nodes

How is this data gained? I'd assume that raid data could be extrapolated by just tracking all online players and seeing when their raid counter went up, but for weapons, could that be accurate?

i believe it is gathered from a list of players with public profile who have completed one raid that day

calluum does most of the api scraping stuff

we have a second set to sort of… alleviate the public profile issue by having participants fill out information for people they find in pfinder

obviously it’s a much smaller set but it’s just kinda the workarounds we have to do

I'd argue it's just as much of an issue relative to the rest of the damage sources, just less noticeable because paladin isnt as likely to be a dps build

air shout isn’t an issue on bmonk nor paladin which is why no one complains about it

but fallen free damage multipliers make it super strong when it’s not really that crazy of a node on its own

I suppose paladin, being a team support archetype, should not be easily out-damaging bmonk, and yet it is right now

a large part of that is bmonk problems but still

i don’t think it does if you play the same build

obviously a build with titanomachia and fire sanctuary will do a significant amount of damage

but also the damage is likely super close because people really want paladin to have individual agency (for some reason)

problem is I cant exactly compare my bmonk stuff to paladin as building 1 charge cost to take advantage of generalist doesnt translate to anything useful for paladin

though I think for the most part I tend to outdamage bigmacs in raids, but I cant verify that

and to think the ratio would probably be even more insane if a single build (bigmac) didnt exist

Interestingly almost all wynn mods r chiefs of guilds

The second largest group is owners

For mod managers, 2 r owners, 1 was Strat but current no guild

For the other 22, 14 are chiefs, 3 are owners, 2 are captain, 1 is Strat, 1 is recruiter, 1 is no guild but was recruiter

Based on this it appears GSW is the biggest mod guild, followed by Galaxy Knights and Avicia

Profession Heaven is out there too

I’d argue the only true mod guilds are Guardians of Wynn and Galaxy Knights due to their exceptionally high mod-to-normal player ratio

No firm definition of mod guild in gcomm

When prompted, Avicia is an instant response and generally agreed upon. Further prompting got agreement for Galaxy Knights and Guardians of Wynn

However they aren’t able to agree what makes a guild special to be a mod guild

BFS is associated as a mod guild most often yet it only has 2 mods, which is very small since it’s a full guild

If 2 mods is the criteria, then there’s Profession Heaven and Atlas Inc

Decidedly neither are considered ‘mod guilds’
