I want to start off by saying a similar post was made in 8/11/24 which had recieved close to no interraction.https://discord.com/channels/143852930036924417/1272212899946954828
- Why are threads and pins not helpful:
- While threads are efficient in sharing and discussing an information they are not very eye catching, if there is a known mass bug which will persist for some time (an example may be the bugged cutscenes which was present after patch of 04/18 (the mana potion patch) until ~04/25 (shadowpatched) where there were cutscene related questions every 10-20 mins for the first few days)), having an FAQ thread would not prove helpful and there is the issue of who would create it and what would happen if the creator goes inactive.
- When it comes to pins they are not eyecatching (most people dont know they exist) and moreover some are outdated / never asked questions (in 2025)
**A solution, #‼️questions_faq right above the original #❓questions **
Contents:
How to use #questions channel propperly ⚒️ : using search (ctrl+f) to see if someone else has encountered a similar issue...
Hot topics 🔥 : A place where the most recent events are listed, "How long will X event last" , known bugs that effect gameplay dramatically (like the cutsecene bug mentioned above)
Important ⚡ (Idk what emoji to use save me) : Mentions that 1.21.5 does not work properly on wynncraft (should be added to already existing info channel aswell), mentions to use wiki.gg instead of fandom
General FAQ ❓ : a compilation of beginner level questions, perhaps a link to a forums page with updated list
How to trouble shoot quests / bugs 🪛 : there are some info about this in pins, those could be moved into the new channel
The above contents could be compiled using a temporary thread with active #questions users participating and a mod finalizing/checking the result.
