I like the current environment for riftwalker

idk how timelocked operated pre gust buff, what was even the point of riftwalker if its main gimmick was on arca, (albeit to a lesser degree if no winded slave), and had less damage, and had less spamability

very fun auto modded for some odd reason

current rift now feels like it has an identity, that being lower uptime, but extremely bursty period of infinite mana and effectively a second damaging spell, tp, that gets turned into a big ray gun

winded slave with rift actually goes hard though cause u get perma timelock and insane dps, you dont have to care about costs or rotations, just spam meteor and tp, insane dps

this is much less of an issue now that winded can be stacked very quickly, prob not good in like anni but raids it dont matter that much

the gust change was good to make up the fact that timelock absorbs all of them

even though after the gust buff, rift doesn't need a rework anymore, at least to winded mechanics

still i feel like eye piercer/time dilation should be different

i like how you can abuse blink/timelock to straight up skip most raid parkours

like when doing tcc, i just charge the hammer dude, timelock, grab flame and fly to the end of the parkour

not sure if it should be patched or maybe there could be some singular classes that are capable of cheesing things like it as their unique trait

also ig it makes gaia have its own use
