#Poison should be affected by Vulnerability

A relatively clean solution to weave the ability tree and poison would be to make vulnerability multipliers like Curse powder special and Eldritch Call affect the damage that poison deals.

Since curse is no longer a +210% mult for poison, I think this is relatively reasonable to incentivize players to put in some manual work without nerfing (or buffing) the current "afk" type gameplay that poison provides. It's also thematic with the idea of a hexes/curses/poison/ailment archetype. Realistically in raids, someone running poison should be using curse on boss to help out more, this just incentivizes it for the individual.

Yanno, what if they could stack infinitely BUT the ammount added would be 1/3rd of the total poison and then was multiplied by the % of the spells dps?
melee would still act the same way it does

So if you had like 600k/3s poison and a spell that did idk like 50% of your dps
It would then apply 100k/3s poison.
Spells could deal lots of poison damage but over time, shaman also wouldn't be to strong, since 4 totems would get around the same amount of poison dmg.

spell scaling is imbalanced between classes

#

like mage has higher spell scaling s to account for lower base dps

Fair, it's an odd thing to balance especially how it's just straight flat damage

bump for today, post tone down poison is probably going to need to be affected by some other multiplier to keep up for single target. maybe strength buffs (not strength the skillpoint, but the temp buff) as well? that'd also allow mage (+ warrior lol) to be included for poison buffing

#

like just any atree integration with poison please 😭

vulnerabilities (excluding curse):
warrior: none (postpatch)
archer: coursing
mage: none
assassin: marked? (it's not an actual "vuln" status effect)
shaman: haunting mask, ecall

strength buffs:
warrior: emboldening, armor break
archer: none
mage: fort
assassin: aerial ace
shaman: vengeful

like i think getting up to 1.728x against bosses using eldritch call, vengeful spirit, and curse is perfectly fine, especially considering everyone else gets that buff yet the person using poison isnt

#

on a side note poison being affected by marked would be pretty cool (especially considering it isnt so easy to apply to a big group)

#

lets just use snail set toxo as an example,

post patch, we'll see it having around 140k poison which deals 46.67k dps, if you boost that by 1.728x, it just barely hits its previous buffed dps of 80k
even though I still feel like that is pitifully low for active work, that is way better than just leaving it at the incoming nerf
