#Arcanist emits too many particles

There isn't much more to say—Arcanist simply emits an excessive number of particles, which can completely obscure your vision unless you disable them through mods or do /pq off (even that doesnt properly work).

It's already challenging enough that the meteor is so disproportionately large, effectively forcing players to use third-person view when utilizing Psychokinesis. But when you add the overwhelming visual clutter from all the effects—Poof, Explosion (Emitter), Cloud, and that black one whose name escapes me—it becomes far too much.

Please consider reducing the particle output from each meteor. Even if the individual particle count per meteor doesn't seem high, their cumulative effect quickly becomes visually overwhelming.

i havent played without excessive mods for so long i forgot its THIS bad holy shit yeah something needs to be done like yesterday LOL.

THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION

but if you want to improve the experience for yourself you can download a smaller ice snake texture pack, smaller meteor texture pack, and a mod that culls particles and set it to disable explosions fire particles and black smoke and that will remove like 90% of the clutter as a temp fix

The arcanist aspect is too strong it should triple the meteor size and amount of particles to balance it out

why does being called an arcanist have any relevance to the amount of particles created

make it so that unlocking arcane explosion replaces your normal meteor spell with a same meteor spell that has less particles, which decreases the overall amount of particles with max arcane explosion meteor spam to that of 1-2 normal meteors

maybe polish that new meteor further to further separate it visually from normal meteor, would be cool
