Everyone has their takes on the new eldritch call ability. and I'm not too sure how to feel about it either. I don't like thr fact it disables totems and it's hard locked to a location. a lot of the content has things that either move a lot or fast or far. If we're gonna have it locked, I'd like to see it hard taunt all mobs to the totem forcing them to aggro it. it doesn't have to be all 8 seconds which would be nice but at least for most of it. being able to actually get the damage out and so forth. I know it seems a bit wonky but I feel like it's a way to provide more value to it. lmk if you guys have a better solution to this or improvement on it

it could be so all mobs in the totems radius gets taunted and anything outside of it won't. so it feels more balanced and worst case. the taunt is activated only upon cast so if it's not inside and gets inside it won't be taunted. this provided a balanced approach but also some survivability and giving it the damage it needs by actually hitting shit

and this would also work pretty nice with having multiple totems. imagine 3 fucking totems with tentacles coming out drawing in mobs from all directions this shit is cc heaven. it's better than damn storm dance or whatever
and it also makes thematic sense in a way like they're drawn to it

ECS damage right now is completely disgusting easily hitting like 500k on support builds but its nullified by the complete impossibility of landing it in a real game aside for stuff like tcc or w/e, giving it a consistant way to deal its damage both removes the need for it to have excessive damage in the first place and also gives it a more reliable use, big fan
