"so can we please stop making a bazillion threads on the topic when a solution has been found like ten times already, its kinda frustrating"

IMO, CT should make centralised feedback threads for AT changes, sorta like the festival minigame feedback threads.
They would either serve to consolidate feedback in 1 place, or act as a place for CT to post common feedback and their plans/reactions, so that people dont keep going on about the same stuff thats already been addressed

there are AT change threads?

This would be appreciated

it might be too late for an official feedback thread lol

#

there's already plenty

#

we should do it next time though

Idk I feel like its even easier to lose feedback when it's all shoved into one thread which will change topics every 2 seconds because it's a entire patch instead of 1 topic

#

At least make a thread per topic

#

At least for seperate threads you can sort though stuff easier as the posts themselves usually have extensive formatted feedback that is compressed into "posts"

With one thread it's just a mess of reactions arguements and big texts that'll be buried or jumbled with other stuff and pieces of feedback from people can vary from hours long discussions of the exact same thing or a single comment

#

Maybe there could be some place to consolidate ct responses and solutions suggested in a less messy way but one single thread where everyone talks is eh imo

# analog rain At least make a thread per topic

that was kind of the point which i assumed was a given based on the example of festival minigames. we don't have one thread for all festival minigames after all, they are separate threads

magic jolt
#

did you actually read the post or are you just commenting based on the thread title??

analog rain
#

what im suggesting is a place where only ct can post

#

Also I said at least, I don't think that's the ideal option. Regardless of if it's split into topics or not it'll still be messier and more stuff will be buried imo

magic jolt
#

you are literally just saying what i've already said

#

notice how it is "ct post common feedback" + response to said feedback

#

not people post feedback and ct respond

This did exist for assassin rework

#

it doesnt stop anyone making lots of unnecessary seperate threads lol

magic jolt
#

threads are sorted by date of creation by default, not last post, so it's no surprise that it didn't get reused by people to post feedback

tight talon
#

Can we pin/sticky threads?

molten halo
#

so we create a new thread every time one gets old? Lmao ¯_(ツ)_/¯

#

It's not a problem that is easy to solve. Otherwise people would have seen each others threads and just commented instead of opening new ones

Tbh i forgot the old thread existed and im sure many people didn’t know it was a thing

#

If it was pinned/remade surely it would be more effective

if only discord had a feature where you could make threads within threads... that would be a good solution for this... it is already a thing sort of, because you can search up thread names, but its not the same

#

As much as i agree

#

it will just be like this again and again lol..

tight talon
#

Idea:
link the CT made changelog threads in the patch notes

#

(they will not get checked still)

molten halo
#

Even after the initial threads we're created and we were chatting in them people just make more threads for fun

magic jolt
#

yes, i am infact saying that you create a new thread every time an official class at thread gets old, because each official thread would be dedicated to a specific round of at updates. just like the banish the beyond threads i showed in my screenshot, which is how official feedback threads have always worked

molten halo
#

How do I know when it's old enough that other people won't bother to use it anymore lol

magic jolt
#

the reason why assassin rework thread did not get used for discussion, is because it is a thread discussing rework plans, not the actual rework that was implemented. It is both too buried (due to not having been created on update drop, not pinned not bumped), and also not actually on topic since that thread was about conceptualising a rework.

a festival lasts for multiple weeks, and players use and stick to the minigame feedback thread the whole time. you know why? because it is created at the same time as the festival (and thus discoverable by people who sort by creation date), and is also actually exactly on topic with the minigame's state when the festival dropped

molten halo
#

It was incredibly active and on topic after the patch notes were released as the only thread about the issue

#

This is a pointless argument. The fact is that people will make more threads whenever they want because it's more drama!

#

If what you said was true then as soon as one other person created a thread everyone else would use that

#

But they dont

tight talon
molten halo
#

It is possible but i dont know if mods have the permission for it

magic jolt
#

the fact of the matter is, you have your proof from the assassin feedback thread, but i have my proof from all the existing official feedback threads (festival minigames, outer void etc)
