I hate that I have to stop half way through my hunter's calling playthrough to do 2 random lvl 58 quests (An Iron heart parts 1 and 2)
There is no indication that these are the quests that you need.
I know you are supposed to use game knowledge from quests to get here, but in that case, why aren't all of the quests required?
The inconsistency is what really bugs me, it should either be that no quests are needed (other than to get to the dern portal) or all of them are, either as a real quest requirement or just needing them to access the locations like an Iron Heart.
for clarity the quests I am referring to are:
kings recruit(obv)
wynnexcavation site A (for Amadel)
fate of the fallen (for Theoric)
Temple of Legends (for Corrupter of Worlds)
An Iron Heart part 2 (for the evil science dude that Orphion likes for some reason why is this the one thing light and dark are agreeing on?)
Dwarves and Doguns part whichever has the slums (for the slums)
The Envoy part 2 (for Maxie and the Anth-something supercomputer)
and maybe Infested Plants (for Tasim and Aledar being in Detlas)

Yes please fix this inconsistency
I mean adding them as requirements would kinda be lying for most of them because they aren't required
also it would kinda spoil the mystery if you could just check the required quest. I think a proper solution would be to make none of them required instead
put the quest triggers slightly outside of any required area
dwarves and doguns is required too I'm pretty sure
although, for the COW part, you need to trigger the "don't go in there" message at the same time as the hunter's trigger
i'll check in a minute when I get there
still doing iron heart 2 because I keep going to discord
iron heart and dwarves are the only 2 quests needed
if you don't have iron heart completed, you'll get teleported away from the house
if you don't have the dwarve one completed, you can't enter the slum (also teleports you away)
i remember having to slog through dnd to do ahc
had to slog through dnd for TCC as well
only have to do that one class at least
youre supposed to try to solve the riddles without looking at the wiki, which would be entirely ruined if the quest reqs were shown in the content book. its kind of like.. inherently flawed in this way, as you cant really solve those riddles without having completed those quests
Ok but you could say the same about ???
??? is intentionally extremely cryptic so it gets a pass
youre kinda supposed to use the wiki for that one tbh
??? requires 0 other quest completions, only 2 other started
and not even that if you get carried
I'm aware
original ??? was better at that job tbf
miss that one
yea but it also sucked
whaat
it was one of my favorites, love secrets and for me, it was a unique thing for ppl diging into stuff from wynncraft
completionism ruined that stuff
The new ??? doesn't do that for you?
doesn't feel the same
i liked the mistery around it, very inmersive even if the quest was not a lot
having the quest in questbook is the first thing that made me hate it
also having a wiki page dedicated, and so does public groups
i remember that i did it thanks to 5 friends, we all looked for it
we never looked so much for a quest that didn't gave anything worth it
but at the same time it was the time that we spend together was the closest to a real adventure
Leveling my chars, I discovered something: not all of the related quests need to be completed. Of the quests that DO need to be completed, it is actually only Iron Heart II and Dwarves and Doguns I, to unlock the interiors of Urelix's house and the Rodoroc Slums respectively. All of the other locations aren't actually locked behind their respective quests, and can just be gone straight into without ever have even started said quests.
Good time saver knowledge if you don't want to double back and do most of the quests.
Uh
No you don’t
I just did it on my warrior and I only needed to do ih p1&2
I skipped everything else except dnd p2 Cus of lr
You are also required to finish the quest Dwarves and Doguns Part II to get access to the Rodoroc Slum, which will be needed to trigger the sixth scenario, and the quest An Iron Heart Part II to access Dr. Urelix's house.
from the wiki
yeah I know that the others aren't required, in the post I tried to say that I would prefer having to do them all over only the 2 places for consistency, but would really like to not need any
I'd just place the trigger for the olux section right outside the trigger that prevents you from entering the golem factory
and the slum one too pls its even worse
EXTRA NOTE:
if you have gotten to the part in hunter's, then doing D&D2 will trigger it during the slum part, stopping you from doing D&D2 until you are done the hunter's molten section
???no?
the part of the slums that teleports you to the ahc scenario is located in a building to the side you're not required to enter for D&D2 completion
thats what I thought, until it happened
where I was supposed to meet with the guy at the end of the slums (the fuse lighting part) I instead got teled out to meet the royal advisor and start the hunter's section
talking in this post again because I'm about to have to do 4 extra quests just for this
Hope you like Dwarves and Doguns
plario is my new enemy
i hope you like doctor urelix
D&D?
ref to the hit rpg dnd?
I love the hit rpg dnd
