- even after your totems are gone, you cant recast them for another second so like i shit what do i do now
- they do NO damage (wtf??? i thought 480% base dps that strikes like, every half a second would do damage)
- it took away the beautiful -3 blood for sshrine aura in the mythic aspect for another useless tentacle
- they are so low dps, the normal boosted aura spam with sorrow is better
- They take up yet ANOTHER 2 ap if ur a tether guy, as if aco ap wasn't already bloated

i feel like the team in general is so scared of releasing something that's OP that every new ability/feature is just horribly underpowered
like it wouldn't kill the game to just release something that's strong and then hotfix nerf it

nah weak stuff that gets buffed will always be better than overtuned stuff that gets nerfed in the long run, having an ability too strong poisons the well for expectations and gets long term complaints alot

I was under the impression that the tentacles would attack enemies within their radius, like at least aim towards an enemy near them. I think it would be fine if the tentacles actually lashed towards an enemy in range, the preset animation is not it for actual usability. I might be wrong but from what I tried the tentacles don't even seem to have a set position relative to the totem, they just summon on a random orientation around the totem meaning they are WAY more unreliable in combat.
is the orientation actually random? i was under the impression that 1 tentacle faces the direction you initially threw the totem in
So I decided to mess around with it, and yeah it's actually awful. The hitbox is that red circle that the tentacle pops on striking the ground. It doesn't even try to aim it's attack, it just does it in a set pattern and the tentacle does the same animation on a loop
And it looks like each tentacle attacks a bit less* then 1 time a second. With the mythic aspect
It's awful. Straight up. AND it costs 35 blood per totem too ? like wtf
It's one saving grace is that it might be decent in TCC but what isn't
At 'least the orientation is consistent with where you are looking

480% mult/hit is really strong
outside of that though its unuseable
