Thin Ice, and whatever the other one is called. Dodge 'Em.

Currently, there is literally no reason to ever play these.
Thin Ice is just glorified TNT Run, and Dodge 'Em is just boring.
Not only that, but they give basically no gifts. I haven't actually played Dodge 'Em yet, but at the very least Thin Ice only gives FOUR presents. and only to the WINNER.

You want to know how many gifts parkour gives? 9. guarenteed. Not only that, but I can complete parkour in under a minute (~30 seconds if I don't skill issue and walk off the edge while teleporting). I hate to say it, but 30 seconds is faster than any Thin Ice game where anyone is actually trying. Not to mention the partyfinder wait times 💀💀💀

I do understand that early game players may not be able to teleport through Parkour in 30 seconds like I can, but still. Even doing the parkour normally with no walkspeed buffs, jump height buffs, or spells, I can finish in ~2 minutes.
Let's say the average game of Thin Ice where people are trying takes.. like a minute. Assuming you aren't a god at TNT run, if you win ~ 1/3 times (min party size 3), thats 3 minutes, for 4 gifts. That is ~3 times less efficient than doing Parkour, or ~13 times less efficient for any 80+ player (gale's sight moment).

I dont like Thin Ice or Dodge 'Em, but I just can't stand seeing them in such a pitiful state.
(maybe i'd like them more if they were actually worth my time)

the only viable excuse I see for this current cruel reality is "but Thin ice is so much easier to farm, you can get 4 gifts every 15 seconds (10 wait time + 5 interlude) if you're farming with friends". And my response to that is "yeah if all 3 of you just teleported through parkour, you'd still be more efficient with your time" (4 every 15s vs 27 every 30s ~3x more efficient still compared to thin ice). ie, there is no viable excuse to not revamping both rotating minigames

I am grinding santa says, can average about 96 gifts in a little over half an hour, so long as no glitches happen like the reindeer not spawning in during the feed the reindeer, which happens annoyingly often, which means I cant complete that game and get docked gifts

the 96 gifts assuming I get the full 16 per round and averaging a round to be around 4:30

of course after doing them enough times ive refined it down to closer to 3-4 min to complete each go of it, so technically I get even more gifts than that

aside from the reindeer not spawning in, during the path clearing or whatever, the zombies will surround you and attack without you being able to defend yourself while stuck before the game start, which can whittle down ones health, assuming they dont fling you 50 blocks in the air and have you die from fall damage as just happened to me

and the game still thinks im in the minigame so I cant attack or use spells, guess ill see if going back into the minigame and winning/losing will fix that

it would seem that not only does that not work, but it didnt give me the rewards after winning again, afterwards doing /class seemed to work in fixing it so I suggest that
