my biggest annoyance with the gamemode was just the point capture system encouraging spawn camping so much

especially on the point that's literally right in front of spawn

the middle point is good because you have many options to approach the point and theyre all generally efficient in doing so

but the 2nd and further points all have such linear approaching angles that you don't really have much of an opportunity to do anything aside from run in and pray you can kill them (which then sends them to the other side of the map to respawn)

and then because there's such a massive penalty for dying the people holding the point are encouraged to play as campy of a playstyle as possible

so if a new gamemode isn't really feasible then if there were some changes to help remedy the fact that spawn camping is a forced issue i think that'd be very helpful

things like grouped respawning, and newer approach angles from spawn to the closer 2 hold points would be huge
