The boss is cool but resisting the parasite if youre overtaken is WAY too hard, especially when youre solo, where you have to do a 5 click combo instead of the usual 3 click one. This combined with the super INdistinguishable click indicators is just an instant loss if youre trying to solo. And even if not trying to solo, its really bad.

Regarding the QTE during overtaken, it would also be lovely to have a quick warning that the QTE is coming up (like a [!] in the middle of screen 1s before the QTE). During my first solo overtaken, I had the misfortune of right-clicking to drink health potions right before the QTE started... five times. The QTE registered my attempts to drink potions as wrong inputs and I just continued to bleed out for the next minute until I ran out of potions and eventually died. With ping issues potions sometimes do not register your r-click unless you spam, and it only makes this scenario worse.

QTEs should still be QTEs, but it is a little miserable to go out in a fight just because you were drinking potions at the wrong time without knowing a QTE was about to happen 🥺

Just make the qte similar to avas quest

I believe that the clicks are too ping based. I live in Asia and I feel the clicks needs to be in between 0.3s

#

Which is 0.05s longer than the average reaction speed

#

That is if you can hit all 3 inputs in 0.05s

#

Save Asia players pls

The QTE for solo always start you with left clicking first so you can think ahead for the 4

potent rampart
#

That is not true

#

Can be any combination of right and left that contains at least two of each

#

Uh no they haven't been changed

#

huh

#

it felt more doable somehow, maybe just I'm used to it now with ping like

#

including solo one

The power of self improvement knows no bounds

#

it's probably that I learned to stop panicking when overtaken

#

does the secondary shrapnel that fires after a delay when you got hit by main shots all hit you?

# midnight tulip the solo one is intentionally made difficult as succeeding it once ends latched

I think the parasite fight is good, but there’s one tweak I would suggest. When you’re solo, the 5 click combo can start with left or right click. This is different from resisting spells and I often find that my muscle memory causes me to right click instantly during the 5 click solo combo making me fail half the time. I know that bottom line I’m skill issuing but I think that it might be better if it only started with right click and vice versa with archer.

Just experienced what this post said, almost no time to do the inputs and if you're the last alive you're kinda screwed. Very unfun currently imo

I vaguely remember seeing a CT says no, and as it is rn it's very annoying to approach the overtaken person with melee

me when i approach the overtaken person and the bullet hell spawns on top of me and i get kb chained for 10k hp

so the QTE is cool but the way its done is kinda sucky? i couldnt tell wht clicks i had to do because theres no good indication. id rather have left click/ right click appear than two colored mouse lol

There are top view mouse clicks, but idk how tf to get them. It always appears whenever I create a new class.

#

But for the ones that existed before 2.1? Still the front view.

#

And because it appears to be the "front view" it's confusing as fck

#

This is right click... but because of the scroll wheel's position one could logically assert that these are supposed to be left clicks.

#

And if you are a person who likes to be precise, or in other words, keen to perception and point of view, this could routinely misguide them.

#

Before someone tells me it's a "skill issue", it really isn't, as what you are essentially telling me is that honed observational skills and interpretation are apparently supposed to be a hindrance... when they shouldn't be.

potent rampart
#

It took me staring at this for several minutes to get what you are trying to say

#

I feel you'd have to wildly twist yourself and think gui design was done maliciously to think that's leftclick instead if rightclick

tired root
#

I don't think I said that this was done with ill intent.

potent rampart
#

No but like it'd be really dumb to make left click represented with a highlight on the right

tired root
#

Which leads me to asking why I can't set the mouse perspective to be above.

potent rampart
#

I think it is mouse perspective above

#

Just the lower portion is cut off

#

Also tbf this isn't my thing to preside over but our rp manager's

tired root
#

I think I see it now, but it still resembles a front view.

#

Because of the bottom, whatever that thing is.

potent rampart
#

Yeah I see what you mean but I think most new people just see "I do rightclick and it highlights rights and leftclick on left" and that's that

tired root
#

I think the letters R and L are good enough.

potent rampart
#

For me personally all of this really doesn't make a difference after having tested both L/R and mouse button indicator quite a bit

#

A change to use the letters is coming sometime™️ at least for parasite inputs so people can be judge if it's easier

tired root
#

Several people complained about this actually and they all is wanted them to be letters again.

#

Glad to see it's acknowledged now.
