In a 1000 TCC runs I have never met anyone who likes TCC escort. In fact basically everyone I know hates it. Its the longest challenge in any raid and most of the challenge consists of simply doing absolutely nothing and waiting for the golem. Since we can heal the Golem wouldn't it also make sense to be able to apply walk speed buffs to the Golem like windy feet or via scrolls etc.? But in any case please improve this challenge. It says a lot when basically everyone hates it.

well its fast just because of the boss no? the room is slow compared to others, at least thats how i feel
well maybe not make it faster but you do literally nothing for most of the time and what kind of challenge room is that where i do nothing

I'd be fine with a 2:30 min challenge as long as i was constantly doing something in that time. But right now its just wait - kill lava monster in under a second and wait again. its incredibly boring.
make molten monsters stronger and every time you kill one the golem goes faster for a bit 🔥
maybe dont make them stronger, pfinder sometimes struggles with it and i sometimes have to swap lanes time to time to not fail. also it forces players to use just high dps builds so
well obviously tcc favors high dps builds, but if someone uses an extremely tanky build and can't kill the lava monsters that's a build issue in my opinion. same goes for tna. if you don't have walk speed in tna that's your problem.
the walkspeed one i agree, but idk about the dps one, maybe im biased because i got high ping and dodging is not easy when i get 1-27 second lagspikes.
interested in folks' ideas for fixing this
make the golem destroy walls in 1 hit instead of 3
or maybe make an optional room at the start where 1 person has to defeat a boss lava monster for the golem to get a speed buff. that way people can decide whether they want to go faster or not.
maybe something like walk speed buff and killing another one destroys rocks in less hits etc
the levers have so much potential to make the room more interactive, more would be great
golems need to sit still breaking walls less
the further away path after the split needs more mob spawns
golems can generally just be a little faster
The rooms good it just aoulda been better if there were more variation

Attack the rocks with spells to help the golem
I just checked and at most i actively have to do things for like 20s in 2:30
it doesnt help that there are spots where you can afk above the parkour and the lava monsters will initially aggro you as youre above the parkour and fall in the hole
just to address my point above, lava monsters should tp back up from holes they fall down to prevent cheese
what do you guys think about an optional room where 1 person has to defeat boss lava monsters to gain golem buffs?
if its a speed buff im all for it
It just sucks when looking at wing room
partially boss, partially 3rd room
first rooms are fine, 2plat is like 1:20 avg lava is 50s-1m which is essentially tna times
for 2nd wings are like 30-1m depending on rng (which is same as light) and then escort is too long
third room being a guaranteed 30s cuz there is only 1 variant is not healthy tho lol
and boss is sub 10s with a good party 🤯

add optional side paths with content (e.g minibosses, parkour, etc) to speed up the golem. This would give the players the advantage of a faster completion at the risk of further splitting the party and risking the golem being less protected

this is good & looks a lot like the other room 2 resources so it fits the theme
Yeah the room just needs something that can speed it up by player input and skill, rather than just pressing same levers and just going at the pace of the golem
default golem speed buff but it stuned when hit by lava monster

Probably hard enough to be not worth implementing, but switching some of the boulder sections with gate puzzles could speed it up
I really don't mind golem room tbh, I think it's fine as it is, just not really challenging in any way if anything

Increase their hp if anything for that idea, dont make them stronger :( they already do way too much dmg as it is rn

If you cant kill a molten monster your not killing the boss
i can kill a molten on side lane and wtv the fuck rest of pfinder on main lane loses
