#Lootruns are too good right now

I dont think that can be reverted anymore + there are a "new tier" of mythic items which would be annihilation
Wdym?
The economy is already built up on a bunch of mythics and a bunch of le
also mythics should be easy to get imo not that easy but acessible for everyone
only the op ones that shouldnt like annihilation ones that take like 3 days to get a chance to spawn one
So why are lootruns so easy then?
these last few days boon beacons felt a bit more rare, or was it just me?
It just feels like “mythic” items aren’t so mythical anymore…
at the start at least some popped up guaranteed, yes, but later on they were very uncommon
You don’t need them later because of missions
i think it feels that way because of how many new players joined post-rekindled, so more lootruns = more saturated market
plus you're kind of battling rng on top of rng, so you gotta go through crap luck in lootruns, and then go through crap luck when it comes to rerolling mythics for modifiers
oof ouch [4] 18.5% epoch
Okay I get your point…
maybe the issue is with end reward sacrifices being overpowered and long lootruns not being like, good at all
True
hmm
'lootruns are too good'
looks at my lootrunning
so... how do you do these 'too good lootruns'
because i keep getting 30 pull 1 reroll lootruns
from my experience
go chronokinesis>ultsac>redemp> whatever gives sacs>then rrs >stasis if you feel like ig
then complete a full pre 2.0.3 lootrun
do challenge get +100 pulls
go play something else for 30 minutes
blues for buff if needed, then aqua green for time and repeat go lootruj rodo again
can get 1k+ pulls and WAYY more if you actually care enough
just be careful don’t enter quest tp areas you will get lootrun ended by the stay in playfield thing
then do rr farming if no more chrono
so you can get like 2k pull 12 rr run
What does chronokinesis do again?
24k effective pulls?!
I got 50 effective pulls from a lr yesterday and got a galleon
its two seperate runs
chronokinesis is +1 pull per chest iirc and it counts normal chests
so you just blue aqua green lootrun corkus log of for 30 minutes repeat until the run is over
you can consistently get 1k+ pulls consistently, and evn more if ur lucky
then sac them if you dopn't get best mythic
and then next run take sacs + gambling beast for rrs
boom 2k pulls 12 rrs mythic incoming
Wow, cool.
How does this work though?
Is that so the chests can refresh?
isn't that like
I think your right, the problem is mostly sacrifices
lootrunning in general
no luck = no profit
Also that mission is op
So true
Still think loot runs are too good, but I would be fine if they just nurfed certain missions and sacrifices. Also maybe make some of the mobs stronger
it should be reallyreally hard to get to chal 100
Maybe make mob scaling increase as time goes on?
Mythics dont feel like mythics indeed. All went down when loot quality got introduced.
So you saying that mythics sucks even before when they were rarer now thats gatekeeping
Oh no, they very powerful. But aren't very rare anymore. Everyone has multiple mythics thesedays.
In before you had to open like 3000-10000 chests with chests not being client side.
Which is good i dont understand why people be like "nah but only elite players should have mythics beacuse they rare etc etc" meanwhile an avarage player dont even has more then 4stx at a time
Im just saying it should take more than 2-3h to get a mythic.
If only the elite is willing to put in more effort than that, then ye.
I mean man let people have mythic i think everyone deserves to expirience high bursting dps or good gameplay
They deserve it if they work for it. With anni this is even a bigger problem. You only need to do like 3-7 anni's and you have a good mythic.
blud have you played annie??? The rates are 1 mythic every 50 runs
And each run is like 3 days wait on final so the math are like 1 mythic after 150 days
No i meant the LE you get from it
The wait is 3 days, but the playtime is like 5min.
It isnt even that much now its like only 40le max
Anyways I might come over as a gatekeeper, but trust me I'm not. Just wish mythics were still seen as they used to be, a very rare powerful piece of equipment. But I wouldnt say they need to lower the rates now, the damage is done (towards mythics and OG players). Im not supporting punishing new players.
54le
No og player is hurt in the process it really dont matter if you spent hours in the past doesnt mean they are broke now they still rich beacuse mythics back then used to be more expensive
Ye, OG players spent way more time getting mythics or grinding even more money (since prices were higher) than current players.
Only way you didnt lose money is if you hoarded a ton of raw le.
You sound like someone who got broke by the update
But Im not
Then why you care that much for something that doesnt affect you
It affected me, but Im not completely broke now. And as I stated I dont care about the past, damage is done. It's just a tragedy that mythics feel like fableds in terms of rarity.
It’s one in 25
They are supposed to be hard to get, they are called mythics for a reason
This is partially a luck thing but I have done 5 30 min loot runs(in a row) and gotten a mythic every time. Once I even got two.
You only actually play for a very small percentage of that time. It only really hurts grinders.
Also most new players won’t be mythic level yet. Probably don’t even know what mythics are.
Something is only worth a lot if it is rare and cool, or rare and powerful.
If something is powerful but not rare, then it’s worth practically nothing
RNG is extremely unpredictable, you got hellishly lucky, there are people with thousands of pulls that still can't get a mythic
Yeah true, it took me dozens of loot runs to get my first mythic
difficulty behind obtaining mythic would probably be a lot more debatable if it was like something that you'd need to craft (so imagine grinding 128 crafting materials for weeks to make a mythic)
And dozens more to get my second mythic
But then I learned good strategies, and now I have been getting a lot more mythics.
maybe mythic seems more common to you because you've become better at the game, and when you were newer they seemed far more difficult to obtain
factor in the huge influx of players as well after update
lots and lots more of them are flowing into economy now
i do kind of wonder how much mythic droprates were touched for lootruns, and if they were touched in the first place
Most new players aren’t mythic level yet.(most people have jobs or school)
i used "new" wrongly here, i meant there could also be returning players for example
It just feels like they aren’t really mythic anymore.
Having an item that’s extremely rare and takes more then a few hours to get gives people something to achieve.
imo true endgame is getting best modifier for your mythics, and that is horrifically expensive to achieve
It’s okay. This was just my opinion but I get it if you don’t agree. Most people don’t agree with me anyway.
I get what you mean
i do understand how mythic's magic feels taken away once you start commonly seeing it everywhere, but content is built in a way that they're often necessary to start performing well in end-game areas
“Morph being able to beat hardest boss in game”
screw lightbender 😭 😭
Lol
Or just join a random party and ask for healers, high chance of winning. Then you get a cc and make enough money to buy almost anything you want
Like people keep talking about how they are getting b2b caches
This is the one reason I feel mixed about mythics being so common thesedays. In before mythics were icing on the cake and everything was very doable with legendary gear (which was the norm when testing stuff by CT I believe). But now it feels like you can expect a hard time on endgame content if you dont have one.
tho some non mythical weapons can be huge compared to mythics ones like brass band does almost the same dmg as cata in some situations
Aight, guess I'm selling my cata 😔
