This is a feedback post (yes I know crazy)
Can whatever causes the mana drain be a little bit more obvious please
I've fought Fool Eater a couple of times from both beta and live server combined and I still haven't figured it out. I mean, the rest of the boss' attacks are relatively well-telegraphed but the mana drain from 100% to 0% in seconds honestly seem really random
I'm a Warp Arcanist so this becomes more of an annoyance than a direct gamechanger on the fate of the battle (1 tp cost) but it still just pans out the fight time by quite a bit
I'm a ranged class, I never get hit by the boss nor do I take damage during any of the periods of time where the drain occurs, I still have no idea if this is even avoidable
I mean, it has to be, right? I highly doubt the boss is specifically designed to make any class that relies on spells to be unusable
(Don't tell me what causes the drain btw, I still want to try and figure it out from fighting it alone to prove that this is obscure as hell)
Anyways if I can't pinpoint the actual mana drain attack or move myself then I really doubt most other people can without outside info
TLDR;
If the mana drain is intentionally unavoidable, ok cool that's all I guess but I would still be a little curious of the design decisions that went into this
If the mana drain does come from a specific attack, please make it clear that said attack is actually the one draining the player's mana thx
