I've been suggesting having annie start and only allow 1 attempt but keep it up for 12 hours but I dont think that will be done

so u still get the big rush of people when it starts but it stays around for time for other people in timezones to catch up. I like it more than just having 3 different annies a day for different timezones

i know you're just doing your job tealy so this isn't direct towards you, but the fact that instead of making a better system that's player friendly it's instead encouraged to report players that use the current bad system just shows how some decisions are so bad that people are discouraged from playing the game because people making these decisions don't care about their players

Except it has been stated that its not something that is easy to moderate or will be moderated, and there has not been an official amendment to the rules about it

Like in the beta discussion thread i recall it being specifically mentioned that reports will not be the solution

Coz it doesnt have to be them afk joining parties, they can join their own party and carry their own weight somewhat

A change that suggests for Annihilation to appear more frequently or for players to get their own instance of Annihilation that aren’t dictated by server time, have been rejected due to the grueling truth that alt accounts will always exist.

That is why trading and the trade market should be changed if no such solutions exist to vanquish the usage of alt accounts to farm.

I could be wrong, but those are the only ways to transport items from one player to another.

Peoples solutions were dismissed under the pretence of alt farming, and the obvious "make it illegal" was dismissed over it being hard to moderate or whatever

Strongly implying that 1. It wasnt considered illegal 2. This was not seen as a solution

Most of what makes rules work is not the punishment itself but fear of it, and i have seen people who play the game a lot and know very well that you cant afk farm still go and do annie this way, and then be surprised to find out its illegal. Simply making a statement on this would help prevent a lot of the cases

Yeah the current system, while still allowing alt accounts to afk in another party, gives the staff a much easier time tracking alt accounts.

Which is why I wanted to shift the focus over to trading and the market.

Since it seems that whatever solution that is proposed to make Annie less time-gates, will unfortunately be abused to no end.
