almost every time i start doing the tcc boss i just disconect and when i try to reconect i either reconect and get 1 fps and crash again or just freeze during the connection screen, physicaly cant even play the update. fix lag thanks

Yeah im lagging too, servers definitely needs to be improved since their quality of content has increased.
Because literally every mob is a dropped wooden pickaxe which can cause bad connections and low frame rate.

That's not a server issue (mostly)
It's just that the player count is 6 times higher than it is on average.
Upgrading servers to accommodate for this, when it lasts only for some time before returning back to normal is quite pointless.
This is like you've never played any games on their big releases/updates.

and its not just during updates, yes it gets 50x worse during updates but the servers are quite laggy all year around

update or no update the servers are long due some upgrade, the ping situation is abyssmal even outside of major updates

you cannot convince me this isnt bad for player retention, sure us old players will stick through the lag regardless but no new player will hop on wynncraft on a major update expecting a fun new mc server to play just to get hammered in the face with a cool looking but straight up unplayable server and after that still continue to play

Do you, like, think "fix lag" is some kind of button they can press or some instantaneous endeavour they can do. Do you just expect them to download more RAM.

I don't think Devs haven't considered upgrading servers, but A) that takes time and B) it's hard to estimate how many players a new update is gonna bring. Even if you were to look at TikTok views, that's A) unreliable and B) teasers have started only just a month ago. That is in no world enough to upgrade the entire hardware bulk.

Even Spellbound didn't have as many players as Rekindled does. It's also quite literally the first Wynn update that had any kind of advertisement that reached any kind of masses.

Some precautions were needed, but no precautions would've predicted the player count Wynn has right now.

Wynncraft is, ya know, not the most popular server. Before 2.1, there was an average of ~1k players daily, while Hypixel has, ya know, 30k.

There is a button that is called "upgrade servers, but it costs a bit more to run the servers"
I suppose wynncraft is not running on a server that is in their home and using something online

i think its fair towant to have a playable experience even after an update sure the first day or 2 will be a bit more laggy but like it is a fact that it discourages players to play the game if you cant do anything (on every server i have ever played on) hypixel skyblock always had horrible lag after every single update and it got better over the time that i played it even with the increase of players after every update (idk how it is not havent played in like 3 years) theres always gonna be lag after an update and its only fait that players are gonna want to play the game and see the update no point typing essays over this <333 :3 !!!
