To Preface
I'm not saying lootrun pulls should "stack" from lootrun to lootrun. I'm not saying lootrun pulls should roll over into next weeks chest, etc. I'm arguing that the 2 hour time limit placed on opening a chest is bad design. I also know this is a niche problem but I find it to be a problem nonetheless.
Why is this a problem?
Players who spend time lootrunning shouldn't have their efforts deleted because they don't open the chest right away and pulls expiring after 2 hours is unfair to the player who earns their pulls. Just because a person doesn't open their pulls instantly doesn't mean they should be punished for not opening it within that 2 hour window.
I know that the simple "solution" to my problem is to just open the chest after you finish your lootrun. Sure, that's a "solution", but that ignores the unfriendly player design which is that your lootrun pulls can expire. Additionally, as far as I'm aware the player is given no warning their pulls will expire.
What do I propose to fix my "problem"?
Simply make it so lootrun pulls only "expire" when a player starts a new lootrun, or when the weekly chest expires. In that way, they can't stack an absurd amount of pulls into the chest (ergo sacrificing without the sacrifice), but also are able to reap the rewards of the progress they've made.
Additionally, players are allowed to infinitely continue a lootrun on a class, so long as they are not logged in, are under 100 challenges completed, and the timer does not expire for that lootrun.
