#durabilety on normal items

I would hate to be forced to do Professions in order to get better gear.
also professions are an entire issue on their own so this wouldn't really help
And yeah, also this, crafted items can get really strong.
but it would also just make it more realistic of some sort i get what you mean and it could be that normal items have a verry hi durabilety but it would also give the player a reason to get new gear or put the effort to keep something good and want to keep it
💀
Isnt that what people already do though? people will just buy poor gear to test a build, and if they like the build will then spend money on better rolled equipment
theres already a reason to get new gear
Like there is no way/world normal items would gain durability
the reason to get new gear is trying out better/more fun builds
i dont think there needs to be a reason on top of that personally
also I love the "make it more realistic", there is almost nothing realistic about this game
i think it would just make normal items far more worse than crafted items
since they are nerfed into having durability now
crafted items are already very strong and this just makes them even stronger lmao
now there is no reason to craft your items cus it only gives you a disetvantige
no the advantage is still there
Yeah, it would also make players invest their time into professions
crafteds still have the build diversity that normal items dont
oh an item doesnt exist that fits your build properly?
just get someone to make a recipe for it
can look at tier stack as an example of this
Crafted tier stack armour is amazing
the +3 tier pants in question
but anyways the point is that this suggestion is kinda just like
a bad idea
it makes crafteds even stronger than normal items and encourages crafting even more
since you have to worry about durability anyways, why not just make your build a lot better while you are at it too
by using crafted recipes
like this just ruins the point of using non-crafted lmao
the only difference between them being that non-crafted skill points count towards item reqs while crafted skill points dont
which is something that already exists in the game
sounds awful
@glossy crescent 🐭
why make normal items worse instead of improving crafteds?
