It is just boring . it's another passive ability that is also pretty useless most of the time , why ? If you are a paladin and you die , well it's game over even if you revive yourself , cuz' if the tank dies , it will die again . I suggest replace it with something active , there's multiple ideas out on the forums . My idea would probably be something that feeds into the holy power gimmick , like : you can transform with enough holy power , and while transformed you have an aura around yourself that gives useful offensive and defensive buffs , tho you don't lose your holy power , it quickly drains , meaning you have to keep it up to get the most use of it , but this is just one idea and I know the content team can come up with intresting abilites , so if they change it i have faith it will be good (:

My idea is let’s abolish Second Chance and give Paladin Infinite Chance
So Paladin can never die ever
Of course, to balance it out, every time the Paladin receives fatal damage there needs to be a penalty of some sort
Preferably in a point system for easier tracking

Paladin won't always die again if second chance is proced
every time you die as paladin you have to watch 10 ads

it’s incredibly redundant and a waste of potential to make a capstone red tier ability that can save your life once every ten minutes on the archetype whose entire kit is designed around not dying to begin with
second chance is staying in the game but martyr is getting removed

It will now be replaced with Fallen 2: Tallen
It behaves exactly the same as Fallen except all the red effects are now colored blue
And the names and descriptions are all frost-themed
(None of the spells freeze enemies though, it’s all still a carbon copy of Fallen’s abilities)

nah paladin will get replaced by ballin' archetype. it makes your spear into a pole with 2 balls connected to chains that u swing around so your main attack and spells get casted a second time with a delay of 2x the current attack speed. 35% of your damage is taken away as a consequence of this, however the balls multiply your major id's by two.
the best part is your balls have a chance to whiplash back and hurt you and that sends you into a frenzy state which raises your attack speed for the duration of the atree white nodes added onto the red node. At the end of this frenzy, any damage dealt as lifesteal or poison damage gets consumed and replayed onto the last damaged mob. Theres a white node in the tree that increases the radius of this blood consumption by 2 block(s) around the consuming mob.

whenever pally dies he explodes and deals damage to everyone else in the party before reviving xD
dont know if this exists already or not but they could change it to be like idk he gets tankier the lower his hp gets (and/or kb resistance idk)
it should get more buffing and or self abilities and go beyond just Not Dying

This, pally in theory should be very tanky and hard to kill in general and weather they fail or succeed in it still makes 2nd chance kinda meh either way.
If pally is tanky enough then it doesn’t really need 2nd chance much because it’d rarely dies anyways.
If pally is too under powered they’d just die again right after reviving.
The only reason I’d think pally would ever use 2nd chance is if they lag or skill issue.
paladin already has permanent kb resistance, and the "gets tankier at lower health" already exists, it's called Brink of Madness
