fuck utilitarianism, all my homies love deontology

Lari is supposed to represent the deontological worldview

but she is so regarded that she makes deontology seem stupid

but Orphion supporting Urelix is one of the story decisions ever

I don't mind that a lot of quest NPCs treat us pretty much like mercenaries or bounty hunters with no real morals besides fighting the corruption and what not

But it would be nice if we could at least choose to be nice, or evil, or utilitarian, or just an asshole, etc.

The new updates really help with that in terms of dialogue options, although I hope it'll be less of a "right/wrong" deal and more of a "choices affect how people see you, but not necessarily in a positive or negative light"

e.g.

• Choosing a lot of benevolent/peaceful/kind options will make you more trustworthy to NPCs, meaning they are likely to help you out when you need it, however some will try to take advantage of these traits and not respect you or listen to your threats.
• Choosing the harsh/strict options will make NPCs afraid of you, but it will be more easy to intimidate the less than moral NPCs and prevent you from getting into sticky situations.
• Choosing the asshole/opportunistic options will make you more money, but will create more enemies as well. And friendly NPCs will be less likely to help you.
  etc.
