#A noticeable issue around the #constructive_feedback channel

I’ve seen on multiple occasions that suggestions on this put on this channel, when almost always told not too. These instances make up the majority of the threads posted here, and can cause the idea to be ignored or not to be built upon. My solution to this conundrum is to simply add a suggestions channel on the discord server so people can actively introduce ideas more fitting to their description. I understand the wynncraft forums also has a suggestion tab, but the convenience of being able to do it on discord cannot be understated. Not only will this organize the constructive_feedback channel but also garner more community engagement.

TLDR; add a suggestions channel on the discord for qol.

suggestions being in constructive feedback isn't new. back when I still posted my ideas here, the "suggestion" is just the constructive part of the feedback that's meant to give an example of a solution to a problem

for example, the immo major id suggestion thread is a reaction to immo's current state. discussion should just revolve around that, which would be more productive and constructive than just policing the op

the core issue i have with a suggestions channel is that forums are far better suited for what full in-depth suggestions should be and the discussions surrounding them but hardly anyone makes those threads nowadays

there’s tens of thousands of people in the discord and the forums acting as a sort of filter for both suggestions and bugs is a good thing so there aren’t thousands of low effort and useless reports

90% of the posts in constructive feedback are garbage and despite me heavily criticizing ct for lack of transparency I don’t blame them for not wanting to be active in it

if someone has a genuinely good and well thought out suggestion then they can take the 2% more effort it takes to make it into a forums thread
