Dear @north token
Thank you for sharing your idea on adding a pull multiplier for classes in lootrunning. While I appreciate the effort to promote diversity in class choices, I have some reservations about implementing such a system.
The concept of the "best class" for lootrunning being subjective is indeed valid, as it depends on various factors such as the camp, challenge, circumstance, and player preferences. Introducing a pull multiplier for different classes might create a more level playing field, but it also raises concerns.
Firstly, the proposed system could lead to unintended consequences, making it less viable to lootrun on what is currently considered the "best class." The potential for a massive improvement for relatively niche power differences might discourage players from choosing the most effective class for a given situation.
Moreover, maintaining balance in a dynamic gaming environment is a significant challenge. The continuously changing metas, new powerful builds, and the release of items would necessitate frequent adjustments to the scaling, posing potential complications for both developers and players.
Rather than implementing a pull multiplier system, perhaps exploring alternative ways to encourage class diversity and balance could be considered. This might involve introducing incentives or bonuses for using different classes, fostering a more organic shift in player preferences without directly impacting efficiency.
Thank you again for initiating this discussion, and I look forward to hearing more thoughts and suggestions on alternative approaches to promoting diversity in lootrunning.
Best regards,
Tealycraft
