enemies in wynn have a concept of a spell combo, where they cast spells in a specific order.
in theory this is great and should mean that wynn enemies can be "read" just like enemies in a soulslike game.
unfortunately this isnt the case for 2 reasons.
- there is not much differentiation between the casting of different spells
- there is no indicator for the start of a combo.
now to clarify, i dont think the issue stems from combos not having a unique telegraph from one another. I think the issue is that in combat, it is very hard to tell when a combo starts and ends, which means that even though on paper you can tell by which spells they have casted, in practice that is difficult without already knowing the combos first.
basically, i think that if spell combos had an (identical) telegraph before they started, it would make it easier for players to learn to recognise and differentiate the combos.
