Back then when things has less CCI totem fr were just CC chain traps
1.9 shaman is the most busted thing I've ever seen
1.19* or whatever version it got released
It was the most fun class I’ve played on Wynn so far
I remember I used a lvl 70 relic till the very end game cause it’s -Arua cost was so OP. Rip thousand waves you’ll be missed
it is definitely not fun now (except abso healing and ashock tstack)
Since enemy curses apply to puppets summoner is kinda funny but only when lring now
or when interregating wave bug
The totem is a summon.
totem is not unique because it is part of the class by default 
else you could argue that arrow bomb is a throwable kamikaze summon
What defines a summoner class?
Summon a totem that summons puppets. Hit the totem with Uproot or Haunting to summon an effigy.
Having more things fall out the totem for the sake of having more stuff fall out of it is not a good suggestion, nor does it deny that the class is focused around what it generates. For the most part Trapper's other two summons just exist.
Summoner's summons each do something to enhance the other.
More totems means faster replenish of puppets or area for them to keep watch over. It also increases the range at which you can affect with Aura, which boosts their attack speed and recoups you some mana.
Puppets passively provide about half your DPS.
Effigy pushes mobs into your totems so they can be hit more consistently by Aura(s).
Archer summons are for the most part just there.
Hound pushes mobs into your traps or wires. That's good, they were designed like that.
Flock keeps pressure off of you in one way.
Mamba keeps pressure off of you in another way.
Do you want to be able to flying kick your totem into mobs when you haul into it, spawning a ghostly shattering totem in its place?

more totems lets you summon puppets faster, extend aura range and regen mana faster
more traps lets you summon flock faster, hit enemies with traps more often, and regen mana faster from mana trap
puppets passively provide dps
flock passively provide dps and crowd control

hounds push enemies into trap so they can be hit more consistently by trap
mamba provides more survivability
summoner is (debatably) aight, but that doesnt mean its a better summoner than trapper is
