Me and a friend recently started ultimate ironman characters and have been leveling together for fun, but one thing we felt would be nice to have would be a group ironman mode, such as that from runescape, where you have a limited in size shared bank and can benefit from buffs from each other and the like. We just both enjoy the aspect of team play possible normally in the game, and not being able to interact with that side of the game despite both having the same restrictions feels bad. On ultimate ironman perhaps not having the storage, but just having the ability to buff/trade with each other.

YES PLEASE

ironman guilds

#

you can only join them when you're making your character and it's group ironman with every guild member

And you all have to do it at the same time, to prevent people just joining a massive one that would break normal ironman progression

#

And have a low player cap

that would be so much fun

Maybe the 2-5 that runescape has, that's probably reasonable

And npcs are cooler,

sounds fun

#

maybe not ultimate coop

#

but default iman coop

#

cuz i feel like ultimate should stay like the pinnacle solo profile type

#

with every restriction in the book xD

Although as long as it's properly labeled and categorized, group ultimate would still be a distinct thing from normal ultimate, and so it would retain its throne.

#

Maybe no bank or trading for ultimate.

Also hardcore group ironman would be fun, I would play the hell out of that.

I think that hardcore would probably need to be just a shared number of lives equal to the number of players.

nah

#

just give everyone one life and the drop rate is 100%

#

that way if you rejoin your forced to do it from scratch

Well what I was thinking is that, after you exhaust your lives, the group loses its hardcore status, rather than the individual players on their first deaths. No rejoining a group in progress, no individual player hardcore. Normal hardcore drop rates on death.
