#Nerf fire div boss in qira

skill issue UNLESS it still has pull
If it does not have pull then skill issue, if it does still have pull then Holy Shit Selvut Please Remove The Pull Spell On This Guy
You have to do a careful dance of getting close but not too close. Classes with longer ranges will generally fare a lot better, but as Warrior or Assassin, just be ready to dip at the sign of trouble
it has pull
i get pulled 1 shot no matter the range
I mean I did it in morph pretty easily. Maybe I got lucky?
and then the particles and flying blocks make my fps drop to 10
I mean
Solar Vanguard is indeed the Hive boss which I actually see multiple people complain about
When you see like ten different people across like a year or something talk about how difficult it is compared to like, Qira or something you start to wonder
Didn’t they already nerf it a few times?
Did they?
yea they did, I remember when it first came out, we struggled with a guard abso and dps
I complained about it a while back because me and a friend did it on max level classes with mythic builds and got shredded, then we got told “it got nerfed skill issue git gud”
Either way Solar Vanguard has been consistently harder than Qira since it got its updated moveset which is a problem considering Qira is supposed to be the final boss in that whole quest lmao
@royal iron i beg of you... remove the pull....
(The only reasonable solution to this would be to also give Qira the magma pillar ability)
the fight is so good apart from the pull spell.......
(It's the only logical way forward)
or the other logical way is to nerf warrior
👍
Its def a spectacle its just that it shouldn’t be harder than Qira and also shouldn’t be such a fucking difficulty jump between bosses
does qira also have magnet?
Magnet?
the pull thingy
Like, the pull spell?
idk what its called
Yes
First time hearing anyone call it magnet
I don't recall if she does, most likely not
(I legit just fought her like twenty minutes ago)
fire div is hard if you do too much damage to fast
I did it at 105 with morph nirvana as acrobat
Not that hard, due to mild amounts of flight
you beat it at level 105
with a mythic
and said it wasn't that hard
🤯
Just do it on paladin warrrior and grab mythril skin:
Cant get pulled
She does
I guess I'm usually too far away to notice
Which combo does she cast it?
she has two combos in her first phase with push and one with pull, and a couple of her phase 3 ults involve it
Yeah the pull spell is usually what makes this boss a pain. Pull spell in general is often attached to mobs randomly, and is extremely infuriating when doing anything.
Also the best way of doing solar vanguard is taking it slow I think. The faster you do it the harder it gets.
Vanguard's got 3 combos in phase 1 that have pull out of 5, but only 1 combo in phase 2 that has pull, out of 6
Yeah but the fact that people mostly complain about Solar Vanguard specifically
Kinda strange
I get that the strategy is to like, go slowly or something
But nobody knows that >: (
Yeah if you burst down the HP bar too fast all geysers just erupt at once
fucking death
THIS is where paladin is useful!!!!
id love to see a video + your build
Solar vanguard is harder than qira fr
its not at all
Yes it is
depends on how lost you are
Every boss teaches you to burst hp down then vanguard says “No screw you ong fr”
Literally the only boss in the game that punishes that
are we like talking about the boss on first fight of a player?
where the player doesn't know what to do
3/5 combos with pull is a bit too much my guy
pull is so 💩
No, I literally spammed that fight and had no fucking clue it wanted me to take it slow, because no other fight was like that, it was only when someone said “Don’t damage the boss duh” that I didn’t die
And I generally learn boss fights in 1-2 tries at most
dats what i mean tho, are we talking about it being a 💩 boss in case of it not being burstable / punishing the player for dealing damage (with lag and weird ways of damaging the player)
and about players not being able to figure it out?
because in that case it is way too strong and annoying, yea
Yea generally
Notice that people that don’t have trouble tend to run Morph
And it also doesn’t take as much to do a crap ton of dps to solar vanguard due to 2.0 dps
when he moves slowly in the first phase and can't easily catch up cause so many of his combos have him standing in place with flamethrower he needs some way to be able to catch the player
if we had more varied mob spells that didn't have such restrictions then maybe I wouldn't need to utilize pull to have him be a threat
If he uses flamethrower after pull then thats bs, Flamethrower can easily oneshot someone without a decent amount of defense
and I have been campaigning for more mob spells for ages now
Agreed lmao
definitely make him catch the player by giving the player a 0.01 second reaction time to being pulled and sometimes oneshot with the only counterplay being a movement cancel
He does not.
The timing on the pulls are way more lenient than you're suggesting.
generally pull spell is just bs
There have been quite a few times I died due to getting pulled into some random add
But thats more bad luck
for instance, one of his combos has him do a heavy pull, then wait a while, then rapidly cast multiple normal pulls into an explosion
Honestly I’ve died more to flamethrower or multihit than anything else in the game because at close range those are hard to dodge
the trick there is the first pull is basically a telegraph, and you can just walk away out of the range of the rapid pulls to avoid the explosion
A boss with telegraphs in Wynncraft??????
it's almost like I do this with almost every spell combo and players just gotta be observant
oh wait, it isn't almost like that, it is just is like that
Sir, a lot of bosses up until recently just used spells
I’ve only noticed telegraphs in recent updates
by up until recently do you mean up until approximately five years ago?
cause that's when spell combos were added, and thus when I started telegraphing them significantly
that was one of the couple huge purposes behind adding spell combos as a matter of fact
anyways his second combo with pull has him use charge twice to close distance, pull around the time when he lands, and shortly after use meteor.
Idk, it just doesn’t feel like a majority of bosses out side of EO, GG, and the raids have telegraphs
so it's just a very slightly more dangerous charge -> meteor combo
which is as simple to avoid as holding the S key
But its also harder to telegraph stuff with MC because you can’t have mobs do like wind up animations and stuff, the most used way of telegraphing things
the third one, which I misread admittedly about your complaint, is a pull to flamethrower- but it's not instant and immediate. you have the time to walk away out of the flamethrower's range, which is VERY small compared to the range of the pull anyways
again- just walking away from the boss solves the issue handily
its not only the boss thats hard, the second i step into the boss room i drop to under 10 fps
never felt an FPS drop in his room at any point on any of the devices I've used. not sure what's goin on there
Are you playing on a potato from 2007 or something
Charge in question...
what does this even mean
Yea what
Vanguard uses charge to keep in range?
reduces the variance on what he can do and charge and flamethrower didn't work together for a long time
honestly it seems to flipflop between updates
I kinda agree on the nerf, a new player mythicless will struggle a lot to do it
with mythic you should not complain tho
Fight is harder the more damage you do
Rol questlone bosses break hard if you do too much damage
The eye thing in rol 3 just spawns like 40 copies at once (and lags your game)
And lari in rol 4 spawns a million thunderclouds (my fight with cata took 3 seconds, second 1: me dashing onto lari
Second 2: spin attack and game freeze
Second 3: unfreeze with a like 22 thunderclouds and tp out happens)
why are you brining cataclysm into quests
am I being told you levelled past them
Tbh yeah lol ^
I know that they probably do but like
Most of the time they just aren’t significant enough for you to notice them
That or so many goddamn bosses in the new updates are one-time
Please make quest bosses replayable post-quest I beg you all
skill issue
I mean
Either nerf solar vanguard or buff qira
I always find solar vanguard easier than qira, so
you have a skill issue
eithe damage it slower or even faster
wait he also 3 shots my morph mage setup
but like 3 ticks of damages so i cant even heal in time
I never do rol on any class
I did it on assasin to be able to use dvision after trickrobat meta was a thing
Did you read my message
(It does attacks at hp thresholds so if you do lots of damage you get damaged a lot)
morph mage doesnt do damage
cap
finally beat it
Thats the thing: Its not that hard to burst him down
Wrong reply but whatever
If anything if you can do it its honestly easier than just taking the fight slowly, since that way he doesn't spam combos and since the geysers are piss easy to dodge (Don't stand still you numpties :) ) Its honestly not that bad
Depends on what you are using. Some classes don't really have very good burst options. (aka shaman).
I mean sure in cases like... Mage or Shaman its harder to burst him down making it so you have to
gasp Play the fight as intended?
But since 2.0 dps is stupid (and still is for a lot of cases) Its not that hard
Agreed I guess. Some archetypes are little overtuned.
Anyways what am I doing in the forum that only has such amazing topics such as
"Nerf Warrior" And....
I honestly dunno what other unfunny stuff y'all have cooked
Unrelated cat gif spam
playing as shaman in this fight is just pain unless you have like +100 walkspeed and using summoner overdrive and chugging pots every second (only way I know how to beat it with a decent chance of not failing)
