I strongly believe we can benefit from an option to pay to get a limited timed boost. For example $5 to get a 100% DMG boost for one hour + 5% chance to critical hit for 300% damage. This can massively help out many new players who are struggling with early bosses, hence retaining more players.

Didn't expect this much resistance. Let me clarify, what I suggest here is not p2w, because these boosts are not directly against other players, it's simply an option to provide much needed support for players to deal with tough enemies and bosses. The DMG boosts should not be applied to other players in any way at all.
Another thing I'd like to mention is that the numbers I used is obviously an example, $5 might be too expensive for just 100% boost, maybe $1.99 for 100% boost, and $5 for 300% DMG boost + 10% Crit for 800% DMG + 200% defense, something like that. The possibility here is limitless.

I think many people who commented here are end game players who are no longer in touch with a lot of the content that makes wynncraft difficult. Even if you do play through the main game with a new character, you likely already have the knowledge to run through most quests.
There are enemies and bosses in this game that are notoriously tricky or straight up impossible for newer players, such as spirit of gale, CoW, elite boar, forsaken Legion butcher, to name a few.
There's a lot left to be desired in the balancing in wynncraft. IMO they should either replace these enemies with lvl1 zombies or allow players to pay to get a buff, which should give all players a fair chance at advancing the game without banging your head at the wall.

I think that the main fun part of wynncraft early game is trying to figure out which spells and what available armour works best against certain mobs and bosses. Giving people access to an 800% damage boost will not only remove the fun from the early game, as creating builds and spells that synergise with eachother will be immediately outclassed by anyone who spent 5$. Furthermore giving endgame players access to 800% damage boosts will instantly delete any end game content. People already think end game content isn't challenging enough, this "feature" would just destabilize the entire game.
