stacking clones, as if ye-ol'-1.19.0 patch shaman wasnt busted enough (hmmm 10 totems, each capable of healing and damage, not aura tho)
I think he is talking about sorcery recasts not including echo
legitimately it shouldnt be fixed if it is unintentional

During Hero beta I crashed a server using Assassin clones plus infinite mana, it was funny

sorcery is completely useless on assassin trickster because i'm pretty sure the 1 spin it casts from you has the damage nerf from clones
now i havent really played other classes besides assassin in 2.0 but i'm p sure for example you can have 2 arrow storms at a time with sorcery, no?
same thing does not work with spins
also if it's unclear i meant making spin multi and smoke work from clones not just from the player, not duping clones
currently when you have clones active and do a spin and sorcery applies, it only does 1 spin from the player not the clones
yeah, seems like it should cast from clones too
i dont know how it works with aura but i would assume that also casts from all totems and not just one

imo i think this bug should stay until
- The class is more optimized for lower end computers
- The class is balanced accordingly so that Sorcery doesn’t cause its dps to exceed the millions and then some

Last time I played all assassin specs were shit
it has some of the highest dps potential in the game, i’m serious
some cata spell builds i’ve seen get 500 to 600k sustained dps
my nirvana stardew build gets around 350k to 400k
the only issue is that due to the innately poor design of the class this dps can only be sustained through nearly perfect playing

because getting hit loses clones and therefore loses dps
thats the tradeoff for cata
but yes, due to all of this combined i think it’s best if we wait for the class to be very properly balanced and optimized before this is patched
but sorcery not working is annoying bc it would help make a greg smoothie easier

problem with trickster is its always gonna harm lower end pc's
until you /pq low, because the whole gimmick of trickster is clones do what you do thus lots of particles
there are ways to lower the particles of the clones, it’s been done before
Yea I specifically remember one of the first hotfixes lowering particles from them
and trickster’s dps also needs to be tweaked before sorc can be allowed to work properly on it
getting sorc on trickster in tna will essentially allow you to kill greg unfairly quickly
Assassin needs to be tweaked so that you don’t need to be godly at the class to get reasonable dps
70k dps with Stardew, Nirvana

a lotta class balancing would need to happen for me to agree with nerfing assassin dps
you need to spend a shit ton of money for assassin to be any good, and also not skill issue
you should be getting more than 70k with stardew nirv though ,
archer for example can easily exceed 200k dps without crafteds or 10 stx mythics

honestly i really think damage multipliers should only exist to level out dps from base spells of other classes
like, at various levels with upgrades and whatnot
just giving archetypes free 50% more damage fucks over basically every boss in the game
yeah, i never liked the multiplicative damage upgrades at all.
spell damage multipliers and new effects are cooler
looks at the Eye being melted by most classes with a basic build

oh idkmy smoke bombs do like 75k dmg total and they last for idk how long
usually id just do the light room skip though
